I'm almost certain it isn't the final box art, but if it did release as it is now would you say it would be the worst cover of all 3 games (regular edition obviously)

isn't a major gripe for me personally, but I like me a good looking cover

Nothing could be worse than the Mass Effect 2 cover. That was in Megaman territory.

In the end, I don't really care since I'm getting the CE and the box art of that one looks fine.

Well as you say it's probably not the final box art. If it is however, imo, it is the worse looking one. I mean it is Shepard's story, and the earth is endangered...But, it's also about your squadmates, and the whole galaxy.

I dunno why the killed the original cover for ME2, it was ace. The final one was a bit of a let down (yay for Collector's Editions!).

I do so love the cover for ME3, though. It's brilliant.

call me crazy, but i honestly dont care about covers for games.
hell for my 360 games i rarely look at the front, its nice when the game name is large and easily readable on the spine though for when i put them all on the shelf over my tv lol.

i care more about the spine presentation than the cover.

Updated armor=Good thing(in my opinion obviously) but you'd imagine that over the years he'd improve his armor.

And what's wrong with the omni-blade on the cover?

ME2 final cover was awful IMO. The one they showed earlier was way better.
ME3's looks very good so far, it could change in the upcoming months though.

Watch Bioware change this cover to one that's worse.

I like this one. I'd rather it stick around, like ME2's original cover before they changed it to the travesty that stayed.

Maybe it's just me but I find simple is better... a N7 logo speaks volumes, looks classy.. and is hard to find fault in. But then again, as I said earlier, I won't ever even see the box art anyway since I'll be getting digital edition again heh.

Gotta say, glad I do not ME2 regular edition, because it is ugly. Did I just judge a game by its cover? Yes. The CE for ME2 was phenomenal, as were both the cover arts for ME1. Although there was a recent article on GameInformer that should other ideas for ME1, and some of them were really impressive.
