I personally love and enjoy the N7 cover, however, a specter cover wouldn't hurt either but, i would save that for an uber edition release of the game. possibly a future release of the entire trilogy in one package

The cover of ME3 makes Shepard look like he's *trying* to model. It actually made me giggle a little.
But I don't think it's terrible. ME2's cover was terrible.

I agree ME2 box cover was ****ing crap. I bought the ME2 game and placed it in the bag cuz i didnt want ppl noticing me carrying a kid looking game.

isn't a major gripe for me personally, but I like me a good looking cover
to each there own mate, i kinda like it would prefer to have the likes of ash and co on the cover but....... then they might be dead depending your save file

ME2's standard cover with Commanderp Shepard was indeed dire. The CE cover on the over hand was pretty good.
ME3's cover looks better than ME2's, though it hasn't exactly blown my socks off. It's a very minor gripe though.

Yes. That is the cover of ME3, while the Collector's Edition has a different cover(ME3 with the planet in the background). Shepard with the pistol and omni-blade are on the metal tin, I believe.

It may still be a tentative cover, so if you want something different, keep your hopes up. Personally, I like it, but yeah, I'd of preferred a more ME1 esque cover.

They should have give the standard edition cover a movie-poster feel to it (ala ME1). Instead of the typical action game look it has now.

The ME2 and ME3 collector's edition covers are really good. The ME3 one is one of the best covers I've ever seen, fantastic work!
The only reason I don't have the ME2 collectir's edition is because it was really expensive in the UK, like £20 - £30 more than the standard. By the time it got cheaper it was sold out. However, I'm willing to pay for the ME3 one, that cover is amazing.
OT - I prefer the ME3 standard one to the ME2 standard one, just because the faces on the ME2 one looked really, um, wrong. The ME3 and ME2 collector's covers are the best in the series, followed by the ME1 standard and collectors edition. The only cover I would call 'bad' is the ME2 cover. I actually like the ME3 standard cover despite it not feeling very mass-effecty, but I get that it is more designed to appeal to new fans.
