For the sake of asking: ever wanted to change the color or shape of your omni-tool? I'd love to be running around with a glowing blue omni-tool.

And, if anyone read the League of One entry in the original ME codex, there was a small post-script stating the speculation of a possible 13th member of the League of One that escaped the salarian STG. Perhaps he'll have a surprise cameo in the new game? From what I've read, the LoO were complete basasses, eluding even the STG and the entire Citadel military force and leaving absolutely no trace of their existence, save their medallions. A League of One agent could be a powerful ally--or a challenging opponent.

I prefer the canon appearance of omni tools.

And The League member thing always intrigued me, but I don't know if they'll ever touch on that.

That league of one member is long dead. Salarians only live about 40 years, not thousands like the asari.

Ahh, but perhaps this person started a new group? Maybe a secretive mercenary-style clan that hires itself out only to those who share their views, similar to the ninja or Garrus' mercenary team?

Even still, perhaps this member found something incredibly important. Maybe he escaped because he had information vital against the salarians or even the Reapers, so he disappeared to keep it secret?

In any case, we'll never know for sure until ME3 comes out. Although, I do admit, if I was the one writing the backgrounds for the Mass Effect universe, I'd only include some info like that if it could open new story doors and branches in the future.

I don't imagine a lot of references to the first one after having played the second.

I would love to be able to change the HUD color as well as the omni-tool color... God, that would be incredible. I figured they would go back to a blue HUD once I saw the Normandy, but the red health on the health bars is really jarring and it feels... out of place. I would've liked a neutral Shepard-gray/white or green HUD, but if we're stuck with blue, that's fine, I guess...

Makes ME2 the odd one out though, heh. Still custom-color omni-tool = great idea.

I really hope the League of One 13th member returns or is mentioned at least has some minor role in ME3.

This just some in game fiction just to entertain you. It's basically the equivalent to a conspiracy in the ME universe. But one thing that always intrigued me is if I were Shepard I would've asked Mordin about the League.

Yeah but so was Cerberus kinda, would be interesting if they could make it work. It's what I love about Mass Effect though, so much opportunity

"So, Shepard, what do you think about the speculatores? Near-mythical super-spies or bog-standard field agents?"

Both the League and Cerberus are canon, but the League situation happened how many years ago before humanity joined the galactic community? I think its just something to entertain us and to give an excuse for hunting down the medallions. I'm not even sure if it would make any sense to all of a sudden introduce  the League in ME3. What would be the point?

A blue omni-tool wouldn't be so bad.

Well it would be nice to tie up some of the loose ends, that quest among others in ME1 did pose a lot of questions, of which few has yet been answered.

It's been awhile since I played the original. But the only loose end were what about the 13th member, what about the murders, and who were they. I honestly don't think it will return, and if it did it would just be in my opinion quick answers compared to the true goal. Somethings and fiction are supposed to be a mystery.

Makes ME2 the odd one out though

I've always thought the game colour schemes have got to do with alignment - a parallel to the paragon/renegade dichotomy. In ME1, Shepard is with the Alliance/Council. In ME2, s/he is working with Cerberus. Since s/he returns to the Alliance in ME3, it follows that the theme returns to blues.

...Never got the orange interfaces, though. Be hell on the eyes.

If it were my choice what really needs to be returned is the Banes mystery. I think that was the cut content Bioware spoke about on the Presidium.

The content in question was an ME2 sidequest.  And Banes is dead.  All he ever was meant to be was a lead-in to Kahoku's quest chain.  You were supposed to ask him about Banes and then get the quest about the missing marines, but they made it so you could get the quest without hearing about Banes at all, meaning it just dead-ended for a lot of people.

Sigh. I know he's dead. Do you honestly think that makes any sense to let him go like that? Dr. Micheal black mail was supposedly black mailed by him, why? Then why is Anderson being so defiant on the mentioning of him. Look at this does that support my theory. www.computerandvideogames.com/327854/mass-effect-3-to-include-cut-citadel-content/

Oh and thirdly. Why was that transmitter set their in the first place? Yeah I know this could involve Cerberus. But it still would be nice to know solidly the Banes question might actually return.

I demand ME3 has bonuses for those of us who collected all there was to collect in ME1. Turian emblems, Protean disks, Matriarch's writings, Salarian medallions. And those minerals should boost Alliance fleet strength!
