Until yesterday I was able to use the toolset flawlessly, but everytime I try to start it now the following error appears

"Unable to load the game engine DLL. This can be caused by the DLL missing, other required DLLs missing, or the wrong version of DirectX installed."

I had just bought The sims Medieval yesterday,  installed it  and played for a bit, but when I tried to start the toolset afterwards the following message kept appearing, I've tried several things such as regsvr32 and also reinstalled the toolset, including the SQL server and database, losing my projects and so forth but nothing seems to be working.

I would really appreciate some help & tips, i'm quite desperate to get it to work again.

thanks in advance

EDIT: Reinstalling the game and then the toolset seems to have fixed this problem.

Unfortunately I wiped my module but I didn't have anything worth saving anyway. When in doubt, reinstall!^_^

If you still haven't found a solution you could try posting details of the error in the PC Technical Support forum as the BioWare staff are a little more active there.

I managed to fix the problem by reinstalling the game onto it's default directory,
C:/Program/Dragon Age

followed by running Configure Toolset.exe

But as Lord Methid said, I had to remake the modules and re-post my maps.
