I've been mostly just guessing on eye colors when I create a character, since it's impossible to see the eyes clearly enough to tell what they're supposed to be, but I recently got my hands on a list of eye colors in the DAO character creator and now I'm wondering if the ME creator's eye color slider has the same list of colors.

The DAO list I have gives me the following:
1. Light Blue Gray2. Medium Blue Gray3. Dark Blue Gray4. Blue-green5. Green6. Brown7. Hazel8. Amber9. Dark Brown10. Light Gray11. Dark Gray
Is the ME list the same? If not, does anyone know what the colors are?

DAO and DA2 use an independently created game engine that has become somewhat dated already, because of the extremely long development period that DAO underwent. The Unreal Tournament engines are updated fairly often, and are at least somewhat more recently redesigned. Mass Effect, all three of them (ME3 is due next March), are UT3 games.

You can make comparisons to other UT3 games, but not to either of the Dragon Age games.

And so your answer is ... what, exactly?

I'm not asking about the game engine. I'm asking about the list of eye colors in the character creator, which are impossible to see when you're actually creating a character.

I believe Goraths answer was no, theyre not the same.
I just checked, and had no problems at all seeing the colours of the eyes. From left to right on slider;
Grey, grey-green, emerald green, jade green, blue-grey, dark blue, violet, midnight blue, light brown, medium brown, dark brown, red-brown, very dark brown.

Thanks, Bogsnot.

Unfortunately, I don't own an HD television yet, so on my vintage 1998 TV, all the eye colors are pretty much "Dark, dark, not quite so dark, more dark, and by the way did we mention dark?"

With your answer, I can whip up a short list to post for people who might be having trouble with the eye colors, the way I did.
