This. Unlike the Dragon Age universe, i really would feel like i was missing out if i didn't finish the Mass Effect series.

Same. the DA 2 team really butchered the DA series. It prob wont recover unless they do a 180 in DA 3.. Glad ME team is so awesome jsut dont make me wait 2 hrs for same demo anymorePosted Image

No... and I never will -- not even from a bargain bin.

Than why are you posting here?  And how can you not want to see how the story ends?

I'm an ardent ME1 fan who takes a morbid glee in seeing the decadent streamlined depths to which the ME franchise has fallen since the original -- atmosphere, plot and gameplay wise. As far as I am concerned ME2 and ME3 don't exist in my canon so I don't really give a damn how Bioware's (lame post ME1) version of the story ends.

I would very much like the game, especially the Collector's edition for the extra content, but unless things turn around I might have to do without. I had to do that with ME2.

Then why bother registering ME2 in your BSN profile? No, forget that, why have you not yet unregistered it?

To answer the OP, ab.so.lutely.

There should be an "already bought/ordered" option.

HELLS YES!!!

After the behind the scenes demo. The snippet of "RPG elements" and weapon customization is what sold. It looks like a sleeker ME1. Pre-Ordered N7 Edition.

Why should I? I bought it (under the assumption that it would be a faithful sequel) and I was dismayed when I discovered it's atrocious departure from its predecessor. My registration allowed me to critique the game in forums that I would otherwise not have been able to post in. I had no idea (as you're implying) that registring a  game implicitly means giving it your wholehearted approval.

Same here. Not as excited as I would like, having in mind some changes here and there, but still...

Thanks for the reply. I was genuinely curious, not trying to attack. I myself register them because the little symbols under my pic look kinda gnarly.
