I was not sure where to ask this question, i figured that the best way would be to just post a thread and ask everyone at once.
my question is this, with the closing of the cerberus daily news will we recieve a similar feature in mass effect 3? if so, will it be tied to the alliance this time? perhaps we could have an app on our phones that alerts us to an ANN( alliance news network) message and/or posting?
P.S. if this question has been posted in the wrong forum section i apologize, as stated above i was not sure where the correct place for this question would be.

The appearance of the ANN in the trailers may be significant to ME3 so it is possible we will get daily updates. If we do get daily updates they will probably have a much different tone than ME2's updates because of the war that's going on.

Here's an idea: what would you guys think about a live-action montage of ANN news cuts in the game's intro, followed by a cut-to-black and transition to Shep's current trial (since I've heard he's involved in several different trials for past actions)?
Would that be too jarring? Or would it -- in light of the convincing character acting and graphics of ME3 -- be a nice lead-in to the story? Do you think it would make the setting seem more real to you, or less?

This is what I'm thinking also.
It actually sounds like a great concept. I was really impressed by the quality of writing and storylines in the CDN.

If you guys remember. There will be CDN news updates 3 weeks prior to release date. So there is that. But since Cerberus are now the bad guys there is possibly going to be another news network. ANN maybe. Though what about a galaxy wide news network?

It could be included, but there would have to be some changes first. The live-action montage showcased in that trailer was purely for promotional purposes, if they'd make one in-game, then the actors would have to wear the correct clothing. They were still wearing 21st century clothes in that trailer montage, and not the correct 22nd century clothing.
