Hey there!

I'm experiencing a problem with the keys and walking animations. I created a cutscene, where the female actor I want to move later on argues with someone else, turns around and then walks away. In order to get the GAD working, I created a key where she is standing when arguing with her friend. Everything works fine, she turns around and walks away 5 paces. However, whenever I try to make her walk using the Walk 5 paces animation and the GAD again, she suddenly appears at the key I set at the argument location. I tried setting a new key at the place where she ends up after the first walking animation is completed, but she always "beams" back to the first key I sets and oddly floats her five paces.

Edit: I forgot to say, I set the "Extend GAD beyon action" on the first animation to "True".

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Kind regards

Nick

For the latest walk 5p animation do you have "Entrance GAD" set to True? If you want her to begin walking from where she is standing, Entrance GAD needs to be false, otherwise she will jump back the 5p distance and end up at the new keyed position.

Hey there,

You were right, that was the problem. :) I didn't notice that Entrance GAD was set to "True". :)
