Are we now allowed to talk ME3 romances? *fears Evil Chris*

To answer your question, if certain MShep has romanced women in ME1/2 and romances a guy in ME3 he:
1. Is bi...........or
2. Went gay-for-the-ME3-dude............or
3. Came out of the closet...you know, after much introspection realized he's gay...or
4. Doesn't care about bi/gay/straight, he's just having good timez! :wizard:................or
5. Has had sex with aliens before, only gay sex is missing from his CV.....

+ any other possible reasons you could come up with. It's a role-playing game after all uh?B)

Everyones making the point as if it is the companions who will initiate the romance, what if it was you who made the choice to flirt with companions then wouldn't that negate any previous arguments because the choice is there it's up to you whether you take it or not. People are getting wound up for no apparent reason.

I think some of them are fearing another Anders from DAII, if they played it.  He does flirt no matter what, and people got a bit angry after Hawke turns him down and subsequently gaining a few rivalry points from Anders.

To me, I think it'd be unrealistic for the companions to NOT flirt solely based on sexual preference.  If there's a bisexual/gay squadmate and he thinks Shep's arse looks particularly fine, testing the waters and offering a subtle flirt makes sense to me.

I honestly don't care as long as it doesn't ruin the characters personalities.

For instance, a gay Wrex would IMO look strange because of his species troubles with reproduction.
Also, a lesbian Ashley would probably be weird, considering her conservative views.
Garrus, I think, would also be hetero judging by the military mentality and discipline imposed upon them by the Hierarchy, but then again, he's quite a rebel so-to-say.

Of course, this is a sensible topic so I wouldn't mind if the devs decisions go against my opinions because, like others have said, Shepard decides who to romance in the end.

I doubt it. BW might set up a thread about it if or when we get some more info. It's too much of a powder-keg on the forums at the moment.

You act like the Krogan's have some sense of monogonus relationships. For all you know they could be SEX FREAKS. Having sex with just ANYTHANG. Ya know.

Being GAY does not change your personality. Doesn't matter how military you are. This is the year 2183-

Mods have been dormant for a while. Maybe if we all act civilly before the mods wake up, they'll decide to allow it again?

I agree, but people are afraid that the LIs will think you're into them if you're just being nice. They're afraid of an Anders situation or an accidental romance. Bisexuality was probably the least odd thing about his character, but it's the part people latched on to when discussing it in the S/S confirmation thread.

Honestly, I don't think it is that horrible if a character flirts with you, as long as you can reject them but Shep-initiated romances would cause the least amount of grief for everyone. Or something like DA2 hearts, or replaced with something more appropriate for ME like color coded flirt text? I have a poll on that subject, actually.

Well, that would be the *Captain Kirk Way* of describing ones sexuality. Because when he starts having sex with men, it's because he ran out of women. . . and female aliens.
