So far I have seen only Ashley new hair in screenshots and it looks great compared to ME2 plastic hairs. I might be a bit uninformed but have there been screenshots of other long haired characters, are they totally replacing old hair models? Or will there be even simple physics on the hair, so they aren't clued in the head even you get missile in your face?
Hair in ME 2 looks quite terrible and plastic in most of the lightnings. Miranda had a quite nice hair but still zero physics.
Can we expect better character hairs?

Hudson confirmed newer technologies to render more realistic hair. Probably physics-accurate, but I'm not sure.

I doubt it, though I don't really care either way. As long as the physics that get my bullet from my gun to my target's head are intact, I'll be happy.

I think we can expect better hair. Two clues:
a) Somewhere it was said that we will be able to change our Shep's hair. Makes more sense with new hair styles.
DAII had some hair physics. Don't see a reason why they shouldn't use that in ME3.
No proof of course, but both points make it seem quite probable to me.

No physics, just part of character animation. It's also entirely different engine so what can be done in one doesn't have to be readily available in the other.Forst1999 wrote...
