The CE content is the robot dog, some N7 guns, a hoody for Shepard to wear (:pinched:) and an alternate appearance pack (as well as the steel case, artbook and N7 patch). The extra character will almost certainly be for sale seperately.

I know, it's just that what I mentioned was all I am interested in personally. :)

Wasn't ME2 CE an exclusive to Game in the UK last time ? (for £39.99). If that's the case, I'm not holding out much hope for Amazon or Play getting ME3 CE for pre-order - or at all.

Gamestation still have the PC edition for an eye-watering £59.99, but less than Game's excruciating £69.99!!! That's just madness. As they're both owned by the same company though, I wouldn't be surprised if Gamestation bump the price up as well before long.

Yeah, it's becoming less and less likely :/

Oh well, not much we can do about it.  I'm sure we can QQ til the cows come home, but I doubt it'll make any difference.. :crying:

Yeah, I saw already (plus it's in the OP); I meant I think Game have made a mistake.  The last CE was nowhere near that, and it's very unusual for the CE to be the same price for all platforms (usually it's cheapest on the PC).  If they haven't made a typo in updating their website and it's deliberate, their rationale is possibly that they think there are a enough hardcore gamers who would be willing to buy this thing anyway.  Thank god they won't do an uber edition of this game.

Right, sorry.

But yeah, I hope it's a mistake.

I still haven't got a reply from them yet, but I'm not really expecting to get one til tomorrow.

Ok, here the answer I recieved from GAME. No advantage. I told them about gamestation offering it for 59,99 and that I'd have to move my order if they can't make me the same price. Here:

Thank you for your email.

We aim to be the best and only place for you to shop for your gaming needs. To help us achieve this we carry out regular competitor checks to ensure our prices are the keenest on the High Street.

I can confirm that we do offer a price match service in our stores but not online although terms and conditions apply. This service is applicable to other similar specialist retailers such as HMV.

I am sorry but we do not price match on bundles, promotions or sale goods.

Regards,

Charlotte H

It looks like I'll stick to my amazon.de preorder where I can save ~6 Euro... Though 59,99 + 2,99 Pounds from Gamstation would be be better, I don't trust them enough to really shift my order to them. the gain for me would be aditional ~6 Euro. I'll cancel my game preorder as my garanteed price would be 69,99 Pounds. unless there is a smallest price garantee like on amazon. does anyone know about that?... But considering I can get normal ME3 for 27,99 Pounds at amazon.co.uk... sigh

For Game preorders you will pay the lowest price, ie, if it goes down to 59.99 you'll only pay 59.99.

I got much the same email:

"Game and Gamestation are run as two separate retailers. The prices stock and deals are very different for each retailer.

Our prices are intended to be competitive in respect to other websites selling a similar product range and every week we compare our top chart titles against other websites to ensure we continue to bring you great prices. We look to sell at an average price rather than as the cheapest.

We do however offer the greatest range of games, greatest variety and savings on our bundle deals and with our reward cards we offer a 2.5% saving on future buys."

When I pre-ordered DA2 Game set the price at something like £50, however I only ended up paying about £25 I think, the price will fluctuate a lot the release is still 9 months away. It's good to see that we get a nice box and physical extras, compared to DA2's awful plastic CD case and black'n'white manual.

I'm not so sure. If the demand is high enough and there is a limited supply, the price is less likely to fluctuate. But I hope it does regardless!

Damn, that's steep...

I bought my CE for ~85 CAD (~25 CAD over normal) and I thought that was steep...

I don't think supply/demand factors can affect a game that 's still 9 months from shipping. If anything, overdemand will net BW a better rate from manufacturers due to increased volumes. At most it should cause delays in shipping, which shouldn't require changes in list price (any extra costs will be covered by savings in production).

Yeah somewhere.. Its happened to me a couple of times.  I always preorder through game because they've never failed to deliver the day before release.

On more than one occasion the original preorder price for other games ive played was lowered prior to release, and you're always charged the lower price

Also, if the price goes up after you pre-orderered, you will pay the previous lower price.

Not sure about that one. Although, that kind of scenario is very unlikely to happen.

So any new news?

Can anyone give me an answer to this? - If I order the CE from Amazon.de is the game going to be dubbed or subtitled in german?

it depends for which system you wanna get it. For PC it's almost 100% sure that it'll be multilingual (dubbed: english,german,french,...) as have been the ones of me1 and me2 before. The Xbox 360 version will likley be only german, as it has to my knowledge been before. The Ps3 version of me2 is acording to amazon just in german aswell. I asume the PS3 version of ME3 will be only in german aswell.

so shiping from germany  is only interessting if you plan to have the PC version.

Another question: Has someone of you ever preordered something from game.co.uk, while living in europe. Any experiences or trouble there? Or in other words: is game.co.uk trustworthy like amazon.co.uk, when shiping in other counries? I'm currently holding on one preorder for BF3 ltd Ed. from there.

Already bought a couple of games via game.co.uk, never had any real problems so far. They forgot to mail my pre-order DLC code for TDU 2 on the release date but after I mailed them about it I received the code within 24 hours without any further trouble. Delivery to Germany usually takes around 4 or 5 working days.

So I pre-ordered it for the Xbox 360 from game.co.uk :D amazon.de offers the German CE for 90 EUR... no way!

If they lower it they should charge you that price, if it stays that price when you actually pay for it. If it rises again, you wont be charged more, you'll be charged what it was when you agreed to purchase it.
