Are you sure? Cus that makes a whole lotta sense to me but i dont have a credit card to order it with, i have 3V card but those vouchers expire every 3 months so no good not for this!!

You need a Mastercard, Maestro, Visa or Solo card to place an order but yeah you can cancel at any time and not be charged as they only charge at dispatch

Yeah that works out at pretty much 127 dollars if your going on British pounds!! So yeah....good luck...

Ah see generally 3V works as a Visa card but again it only lasts for three months so ordering it now wouldnt work:s thanks for the info though i appreciate it:)

ME3 CE (hardcopy) will cost us at least $110. Collectors Editions for DA:O and ME2 both cost $110. More than likely we will be charged $120-130 for ME3 CE, even though our dollar is trading at above par with the USD.

Oh you're right, I didn't see "platform" thought it was for the different editions.

The current price is the same as the full box set for the entire series of Farscape when that first came out (4 series plus the movie). For the same price there's heaps more content in a DVD set than there will be in ME3, and while the extra stuff looks good it's definitely not worth doubling the price.

I'll probably end up buying it anyway though.

And to be fair, Mass Effect doesn't have nearly enough Claudia Black in for meto justify that sort of price. (I spent around £130 for all of Farscape: totally worth it!)

Bioware, put another 30% Claudia Black, 20% Ben Browder and 10% Scorpius in ME3 and I'll sell a kidney to buy it.

Yeah, the console versions are also disproportionately overpriced (in comparison with the standard edition) unfortunately.

Problem is now that if loads of people already have pre-ordered it at the higher price then GAME will have no reason to reduce it, the only way would be to get at least 51% of the people who have pre-ordered it to cancel thusly hoping for a price reduction that or we wait for GAME to grow a big heart...

That is what I fear aswell. currently I am preholding an order at both amazon.de and GAME. Normally it wouldn't make sence to hold the preorder at GAME for this price, as I have no experinece with them and there is so much time left to the release. On the other hand I am currently preordering Battlefield 3 (PC) from there aswell (as the price is very nice) and thus I thought I wait and see how that turns out. Propably canceling Game anyway.... not sure what to do.


Edit: Gamestation is offering the PC version for 59 Pounds. I'm tempted to shift my order over to them. Has anyone experience when it comes to preordering at gamestation.co.uk? (to Europe)

I like having a physical copy of the games I buy and want all the in-game content available but apparently I have to pay more than double the price to get all that content. Even if I wanted the art book etc I'd still think it was over-priced. Not to mention that the 'additional content' is obviously just part of the original game held ransom, considering there are eight/nine months left before release.

Sure, I could wait a few weeks or months to see if the price drops but by then chances are the CE will be sold out. Either way I'm being ****ed over in some sense.

Is England even getting the physical extras (metal case etc)? As I recall the DA:O CE was a GAME exclusive and didnt come with a special case or a cloth map. It was about £20 extra for the three in-game items solely, which I was fool enough to pay.

hmmmm thats a good point but my signiture edition of DA2 came with all the added extra's as did the CE of ME2 so i would presume that we get the case and stuff as well!! at least i seriously hope we do....
