As many have said before, it seems highly unlikely that Bioware decided to not even tease the addition of the feature during E3. It's the single biggest feature they could have added and they would not even mention it?

If that's an indication of how ready the feature is, it's addition can only hurt the overall quality of the series.

Casey was pretty "non-dodgy" in all those magazine interviews where he clearly stated that multiplayer would not be present in Mass Effect 3. And Ray said what he said, they're exploring ideas of MP in all titles, and ME3 will probably go about as far as getting a Cerberus Network analogy.

But that was then. Ask him again at E3 and he'll probably try to dodge it and say 'wait and see'. Unless he states firmly that there won't be any form of MP in 3, then it's bad bad news for all (or the majority).

I'll bet my house that MP will be present in Mass Effect 3, at the end of the day EA say what goes on, not Casey. Sad but true. The lighting quick gameplay will be perfect for it. 

I just hope the SP doesn't get compromised.

Hey, I am a Gears of War fanboy and I most certainly do not want any form of multiplayer in Mass Effect 3. I despise tacked on multiplayer, and feel that it should never be added into a sequel unless it fits (like Assassins Creed), Mass Effect it would feel completely out of place.

its simple, they dont want to alienate the MP crowd and so instead of coming out and saying "NO MP", they're being slightly cryptic. this will ensure that even though there is no MP (we all know this), they dont straight up ****** off the COD/GOW crowd that they're so deseperate to please.

What if it's multiplayer a la Secret of Mana or Tales of Symphonia? I could see that working in theory at least. P1 gets Shep and does the talking, P2 and 3 control the rest of the squad.

Teamxbox is reporting on the eurogamer newsbit. Standalone MP is some sort of horde mode. They do NOT report that it is confirmed by Bioware but the MP infos are popping up all over.

Kinect and MP. Now they just need some 3D and a subscription based MP stat tracking service! YEAH BOI! HAHA! FLAVOR FLAV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Someone asked him and he replied with a vague reply that did not rule out multiplayer.

No it hasn't been debunked, the only statements you will find from Bioware about the issue are incredibly vague.

Actually Casey was pretty dodgy and refused to rule out MP simply saying "they haven't YET found a way to do it".  The same with Ray all he said was that "they had nothing to announce YET"

Look it is pretty simple Bioware could end this rumour and speculation tomorrow by saying "there is no MP in Mass Effect 3" but for some reason they refuse to do that.  Instead they give vague half answers that do not clarify anything.  So you have to wonder "why are they being so vague" in their responses.
