Normandy can't land on some planets, those with high gravity.
How can Normandy 2 fly in atmosphere?

No. The Normandy SR-2 is too big to land on a planet. There's a difference.
In the
walkthrough video on Earth you can clearly see Normandy flying 3-4 meters above
ground as it pounds the Batarian husks attacking Shepard and Anderson. If
Normandy can get so close to a ground in such a speed, why it isn’t capable of
landing?
I needs a large LANDING ZONE. Just in that part of the game there was no one decent enough to land. I don't think we could dumb it down anymore for you

Okay, so in ME2 they say that Normandy SR-2 is too big to fly into atmosphere ... Is Bioware dumbing down the science and logic of the universe ... [etc.]
I try to maintain a certain decorum in these forums. I believe that caustic insults undermine whatever point I'm trying to make in a reply.
However, this is too much.
Play ME2. Fly any one of the Firewalker missions. The Normandy ENTERS THE ATMOUSPHERE EVERY SINGLE TIME to get close enough to recover the Hammerhead.
BioWare must be doing well if people have to look this hard to find something to b**** about.
