Samara - I think you're a very interesting character and since so few people do, I'm going to keep you on the front page with all the other characters (who only seem interesting because they're someone's pet LI)

You're the only character in the game that - "got it". You were my Shepard's equal - and you joined me as an equal.

I'd want an option of her AND her daughter, depending on who lived.

She will most likely be on the Asari home world.

Damnit, I can't find the Tweet. But a Bioware employee said they can't wait to import their "only Kasumi and Morinth alive" playthrough to have "the dreariest" ME3 experience as possible. Meaning Morinth is pretty much nonexistent. I assume this is good news, but I also think just the fact that Morinth is recruitable, and Samara hates renegades, are the reasons Samara will be temporary at best. Here's to hoping I'm wrong.

Samara has killed entire towns on her hunt for Morinth. I think she'd understand Shepard's actions in Arrival better than anyone.

@Goat, I saw that tweet too, and was a bit worried. Mind you, Morinth spent the whole time in ME2 impersonating her mother, so she was pretty much on the same level as a DLC character in terms of interactivity and personal story development. And presumably, unlike your other companions in ME3, she'd be less likely to fight for her people and more likely to be thinking of herself, whereas Samara would presumably have a big role in helping the asari, and non-combatants in general. I hope Samara and Morinth's roles in ME3 are going to be quite different.

After she just walked out on you at the your romance with her I would like to see her return so you could finish up the relationship, or maybe she would just leave you again...

I agree. Although Renegons would argue that content was being taken out when actually it's just traded for another scenario.

Hello, people. I'm new to this forum thing, so please be gentle.

I have a theory on how Samara's story will progress in ME3. First off, if you're Paragon, you'll be able to romance Samara, and hopefully she'll reveal some more info about her 800-year old self, as well as fight alongside you against the Reapers. However, if you're Renegade, then she'll try to kill you in a battle of epic proportions. Now if the latter happens, Shepard WILL kill Samara eventually (because Shepard can't die), but Samara will have killed one of your squad members during the battle.

Converse with Morinth. If you're Renegade, she'll be a romance option. If you're Paragon, you'll fight her, defeat her, but one of your crew dies.

P.S. I could care less about Morinth.

In my main shep run i was paragade, romanced samara (/cry she done walked out on me), but then again i'm also with Liara currently so it should be interesting to see how that works (unless i replay and not do the samara romance with my main femshep) when you meet up with samara again somewhere in Asari space i'd imagine.
Samara and Jack were the two most interesting characters to me in ME2, thane was a little too needy and miranda was a little too cocky/just didnt hit me the right way. One thing i kinda wish is that if you took Samara with you and Jack on jack's loyalty mission it started a sub plot between the two of them. Not a romantic subplot between samara and jack (i'm still holding out that jack will be dateable by femsheps in ME3, if so tata Liara) but more of a mother/daughter idea, like samara sees jack as she a young woman she can help.

I hope she lives up to what she said, I would like to see her come back for my paragon, particularly the one who was hitting on her. And it would be great to see her looking for trouble with my renegades. Though I always got the idea, that as a paragon your suppose to help her and a renegade your suppose to choose Morinth.
