 Windows 7
2.5ghz Quad
8 GB Ram
GTX 460 728mb
650 GB HD

I seem to have a problem with switching zones sometimes it will hang there forever, with the little save wheel spinning on the right side. It doesnt crash unless I tab out, otherwise it just sits there. One time I let it run for a while and came back about 15 minutes later to find I made it to the zone I was going to, but I have also waited 5+ minutes before just closing the program to restart it, only to find the launcher wont start (via steam and by actually launching the application on its own) unless i restart my computer.

I have also noticed that sometimes when I save it takes forever for that little wheel to go away. I guess it has started happening since 1.03, I havent played it since it was released and I didnt get very far, and I dont remember this being an issue before.

I have the steam version.

Anyone else have similair issues? Its pretty annoying to have to reset the game/my PC once an hour.

If you are running the latest beta driver for your video card, that may be the issue. It is not stable with this patch.

I have the same issue. I run a GeForce GTX 260, with drivers I have not personally updated in almost a year. Likedonut, this problem started shortly before the patch. And even if I get DA 2 to close, I can still hear the music playing...even after I checked my task manager to ensure nothing was running. I hope a patch is in the works for this.

You almost certainly have a conflict from another program you are loading and you have to identify it and get rid of it. Whose video card are you using? If it is Asus, get rid of two of the utilities that Asus includes. One of them is "Doctor something". AV programs, some, are problematic, as are some firewalls. Use the Microsoft tutorial on Clean Boot diagnostics for your Windows version.
