If you noticed the EA speal at the Nintendo conference there was Mass Effect on the screen.

So Wii U support? Will the mini games be touch screen fun time?  Is this the reason for the delay? I'm a reading to much into this? Or am I awesome? Discuss.

Don't bring that abomination into this forum. The WiiU can burn...and stay clear of my Mass Effect.

Look, they also have the abomination of DAII on the far left. Close your eyes and say, "Yes Daddy." Why? Because it's coming!

I was wondering whether it'd be feasible for them to make a PS Vita version. You know, save the galaxy on the go.

Wii U huh? Well, whether it does or doesn't, it won't really affect me. I'm not going to go over to a Wii U because of some touch based mini games. Besides, I have my save games on the 360.

But the touch screen could become your Omni Tool! It would be pretty cool.

Why such hate for WiiU ?

Aside from the fact that they are further gimmicking gaming? Aside from the fact that they are trying to appeal to the harcore crowd (us, more than likely) by giving us this gimmick of a console?

Look, I loved Nintendo for many years. I grew up with them, loved the games, etc...but once they came out with the Wii...and basically decided gimmicks were more important than real games, it was the last straw. It's kind of like companies wanting audiences that they never were interested in before just to make tons of cash at the expense of their previously loved fanbase. (Can you guess who I'm talking about? Bet you can.)

And that's why I have such a firey hatred for the WiiU. Thanks for reading. :)

I think it would be a pretty cool idea, to have Mass Effect in that platform.
There's plenty of possibilities, and quite frankly, if they could come up with something as awesome as what we were shown with the Kinnect, they CAN come up with cool features for the WiiU as well.

Just voicing my opinion

It will probably continue the tradition of the previous games: Release to all exiting platforms and then port it to another one

Why does it matter if it comes out on the WiiU? Will it appearance break every copy of mass effect already created?

Pfft. More processing power than the 360 or the PS3, and I can have the HUD off the screen? Yes please, Wii U = the return of Nintendo GAMES and not Wii retirement home shovelware (sorry old people).

It's absurd to hate on the platform at this point. It could drag the PS3 or 360 down off it's feet and eat it's face off, Ninja Gaiden II demon-dog style.

The only hitch is if Nintendo's online service sucks, because no way am I ditching gamer score if I can't get cheevos/medals and mock my friends lame efforts to not suck at games.

All kidding aside, seriously, it's going to be a beast of a platform. Don't let the controller fool you, if ANYTHING just having the status/HUD off the screen will make for an incredibly cinematic experience.

Did you see the tech demo for Madden? It's a whole new gig.

Does it affect you in any way if people who will own a Wii U get to enjoy this amazing series? No. Be quiet.

I'm still waiting for nintendo to grow up and stop making games for 10 year olds. Whenever they do that I might actually give them my attention.

Maybe they don't want mass effect to be better on the new system in comparison to the old.  They could do a lot of tweaking and reworking...  but,  still, it doesn't seem like a reason to say "NOOO!"

Eh. As a nintendo baby myself, I'm over the Wii system. I won't cry if ME2 and 3 get ported over (lol good luck on getting ME1) but I wouldn't understand it all that much. Maybe I don't know much about the WiiU, but other than a slightly gimmicky HUD for mini-games, what exactly will it have to offer the game that would make it better over the current consoles and PC?

Not really concerned.

Maybe ME4? But then it'll probably come out on the next Sony or Microsoft system as well.

Thus the Wii U would be in the same processing power situation as the Wii is in right now.

I mean either way, unless they REALLY impress me with something nice closer to launch, I'll avoid the Wii U like i avoided the Wii when i got rid of mine 6 months after launch....

Not even Smash bros or Zelda made me go back.

That said, more power to Ninty. Dont want them going the route of sega honestly.

Well aren't you a pocket full of sunshine.

Why would you care if it went to Wii U? Two screens could be pretty cool.
