I'll second that, Mesina. Or Soulcalibur, if that's a possibility. It would be more fitting than a cartoony background, and they often do alternate-reality storylines with cameo-characters. Shepard gets the Omni-Blade, Garrus can play a bit like Solid Snake from SSB:B... It could work. It has a 0.01% chance of actually happening, but it could work.

If the graphics capacity of the Wii is any indication games like ME2 etc would look horrendous on the WiiU. Just look at Star Wars Force Unleashed on Wii compared to Xbox or PS3

The reason why graphics look so bad on the WIi is because it has 88 MB of RAM, and only 24 MB for the graphics card (which is also  weaker graphics card).  In contrast, the X-Box has 512 MB of unified memory for systems and graphics card.  Heck, even the iPhone has 512 MB unified memory.

The Wii U is rumored to have 1.5 GB of unified memory and use a Power 7 CPU together with a modern graphics card.  The next gens X-Box and PS 3 are going to have a hard time doing better than this at the price point they want to be.  They would essentially have to wait over a year after the Wii U launch for better hardware to enter the pipeline.

Honestly, who cares? If it does it does, the franchise gains more fans, money, ect. If it doesn't... well then, it doesn't.

I will embrace Wii U port if it gets the PS3 Mass Effect 1 

But overall Wii U will be weaker than what Microsoft or Sony will give us with their next gen consoles. Fact that Nintendo named their new console Wii U should indicate where their system is going.

Dev Kits graphic card is based on the ati 4850.That is far more powerfull then current consoles,not only little. Crytec called the specs of the WiiU  excellent...

Indeed. If marketed well enough it could be a bit of a breakthrough for the Japanese market.

Possibly, though I doubt it. Most Japs hated the American made Metroid Prime Trilogy.

It wasn't as well received there, granted. I think a lot of Mass Effect's problem in Japan is the fault of the marketing too though. Sure, there's always the unspoken 'pride' hurdle when a game from another country tries to show selling presence over there but ME1 and ME2 have been international success stories and yet the marketing team in Japan doesn't really... exist... much.

Well the Metroid Prime series was good lol, one reason to own a Wii/Gamecube. 

Mass Effect is a great series and hope ME1 will hit all the consoles for a Trilogy pack sale of the series. 

I think if the Wii U wants to succeed it needs a harddrive like the PS3 and 360, one thing i dont like about Nintendo Wii is its still old fashion with the saving.
