This was a fan-frakking-tastic addition, BioWare. Wonderful stuff.

Jesse Houston's facial expressions were sometimes almost as good as the actual content, FYI.

Down with time zones! If it's two in the afternoon but pitch black out, get over it! That's how Alaska rolls for half the year, anyway!

Thank you for showing us a demo where commentators are silent in all the proper places. :) I could hear the characters speaking, at last - didn't have to strain to hear what's going on, it was one anxiety-free demo. And I could hear the party banter, it was awesome! Feels like you're truly a part of the team, when they're reacting to the combat situations in real time and offer their comments on what's happening, and Shepard responds. It's like they're actually here.

Just before the kid scene, Jesse said that every choice has consenquenes.
Maybe if you choose the renegade option, the kid comes with you?

All that we've seen of ME3 so far - the gameplay, the worlds, the explaination of how we can customise powers and weapons etc. Completely made my week (that and Skyrim). The only downer is knowing that March 2012 is a long way off yet *sobs*.

Interesting. Does that mean that you have to be a renegade to save humanity? Or maybe the kid reacts differently depending on what your paragon/renegade score is? Or maybe the consequences are more subtle and far-reaching than this?

It doesn't look like Shepard can really get this kid to safety. Shepard can barely save himself. It would be safer to the kid to stay in the ducts, at least the Reaper dreadnoughts can't reach there.

Great video and chat session!

Really love the Main & Pause menus (layout & choice of colors). It was awesome to see the Weapon Workbench and I'm really happy weapon stats got added (visible stats, at least when Shep is at the Workbench).

And the Squad menu... wow :) great stat overview to be seen there - recharge speed, duration, damage, etc. The bars are really helpful (also love the XP bar above). Extensive Skill/Power custumisation - one can really specialize this time.

In short, my mind was blown :D amazing job BioWare.

tbh the UI style/colours seemed a step-back for me - the orange ME2 style seems more... mature somehow. given you're dealing with quite grim subject matter i would have gone for red/black with more transparency - a muted style, these seem too bright and 'poppy' (though from a player perspective it makes things very easy to see like this, so i can see why they chose this style).

the paragon/renegade bar also seemed a step-back - it's too instrusive as it is currently (despite obviously not going to be on other squad members' screens).

Don't worry too much about the UI design. Casey Hudson mentioned in his twitter that they are still working on it. ;)
