Kaidan is commander. Ashley is not.

Hmmm, then I need to replay the game and Virmire Kaidan every time  I'm commander Shepard and I want to be in charge 

About the time, the trial was supposed to be 2 months after Arrival, so maybe Shepard is in jail while the Alliance repaints the Normandy and everyone else is going back to their home planets.

If I'm not mistaken there are two ranks of Commander and Kaidan actually outranks Shepard. I like the idea of giving orders to a superior officer. It should be especially fun if you told the council to take their Spectre status and cram it up their asses. Then you're giving orders to someone who's above the law while you are not.

Thanks for being silent during the demo and for pausing when you wanted to say something. It's annoying when the reporters prattle on during game demos. I'd rather hear the game than listen to them ask a question that's already been answered a dozen times over.

I heard some new music. Sounded pretty good.

Yeah, it was nice hearing the actual game instead of some reporter.

REALLY glad they got a question about armor customization, along with weapon modifications.

It sounds like every character will have their usual default uniform, which (I'm guessing) can be colored differently, and have different pieces of armor/ammo/health packs added to them.

I'm also really happy to hear that you can color your weapon! Can't wait to get sleek and sexy blue guns!

Most of the demo playthrough was a snooze, but wow! The armor customization screen, the planet exploration, and the power screen were interesting. Also the bokeh'ified pause screen.
