Oh that is just sexy awesome :D Thank you Bioware for sharing that - I think that's the only thing that was really missing from the E3 stuff was showing off some of the improved RPG mechanics under the hood. Woo - very stoked \\o/

Five stats per weapon. Two mod slots on the Mattock. Guessing some mods will do more damage. That install mod doesn't highlight a great deal on the damage bar.


Interesting they decided to keep weapon "powers" as a upgradable stat rather then a weapon mod again.

I really like the bars to show damage output and impact radius. It's a lot more visual, which is awesome.

Also, I'm in love with that Paragon/Renegade meter. Much better than the other two, in my opinion. Simple and subtle.

(Although, damn, 5 points for an upgrade? How many points are they giving us per level? And what is the max level? So many questions... So much time 'till we get the answers...)

All in all, really digging it! :wizard:

I think something no one else has noticed yet is the Paragon / Renegade bar....... we no longer have separate bars for it. This may mean it is possible to finally be somewhat neutral with our alignment.

It looks to me like there's a small line between it, so it looks like it's still 2 bars, just they're stacked on top of the other now. Not sure tho.

Epic win :D Just what I wanted. We can see guns stats and more abilities with more levels. But I assume this is not enough for the true* rpg fans.

Too bad indeed. I was really hoping they would throw ammo powers into weapon mods. But oh well, what can you do?

Weapon customization looks pretty cool though.

I hated being able to visit only one location per planet. Yes!

But could this mean we'll have less planets to explore?

Making them a mod means that you would not be able to change ammo mid combat.

Standard does'nt mean it has to be that way.  Breaking out of the mold is great once ina  while.
