Anyone know why the video keeps stopping? It appears to be a live stream but when I try and watch the ME3 section it will just stop after 10 or 15 seconds...

OoO - is it me or does it look like those nasty prerequisite crap makes a return?

So far... yes...   :(   Then again it is still 8 months from release, maybe they will change it.

Bioware, this is exactly what I was hoping for following ME2. Keep up the great work!

Honestly, while ammo powers made the Soldier seem less flashy at time, given the new upgrade system we could see ammo powers being become very interesting too - also, take a look at the squad section when he goes into there. He hovers over the combat mastery and you can see a bunch of extended information in there :D

Very very cool - awesome job Bioware.

Edit: Ok, how did we miss this vid yesterday? There is so much new footage in here. Did you all see that crazy scene with the weird pulsing brick look structures? And then Shep/Tali/Garrus talking, convos with Legion and some Quarians/Salarians, etc. Holy crap! :D

I wasn't a fan of prerequisite for power unlocking. I never liked that my infiltrator had to learn how to burn something before he could hack a mech.

Ammo powers again? You have a freaking weapon mod system ffs, there's no excuse.

And I see squad members are still gimped with only a handful of abilities. but but but you can branch powers. Why should I have to increase persuasion through Combat Mastery? Makes no sense at all.

In case anybody wants screens from the Mission Computer.

I don't know what "Influence" means though.

I'm pretty sure influence is for the paragon/renegade bonus.

They brought back ME1 due to the outcry. Man, that leveling system sucked. Also, is paragon & renegade one bar that trades off to each other? Are we back to KoTOR?

Now we're talking solid stuff, the customization looks great! Looks really deep with a lot of options, also I'm very fond of the new blue colour. Moreover you can also land on multiple places on the same planet? That's interesting, sort of what I hoped for in ME2, but it's great that it's here in ME3.

Looks like the Paragon/Renegade bonuses we had at Character class Level Up in Mass Effect 2.

Anyone else saw past the Atlas part? So many new and absolutely delicious imagery. New characters and locations!

I am pleased. :D

Actually thats bad. Guess you never saw what happend on KotOR with a single bar. You could do lots of nice things. Then slaughter a village or something but you still had a high Good score so you never went to the darkside. Thats why ME had the two seperate. Having paragon decisions offset renegade actions in one bar doesn't sound appealing at all.

If you look real close there is a blue and red bar. It looks to work the same way as ME1&2. It just looks different.

Actually, the bar is split into two sections. Ostensibly, either will fill when you get alignment points, without being a single sliding bar.

Yeah, if its just a different way of displaying the Paragon/Renegade thing that's fine.

If they force a KOTOR-like path... that would suck.

I'm pretty sure that's just two bars stacked on top of each other. though. See that little red line in the middle? That's not part of Shepard's armor.

I know all this other stuff is awesome, and I agree with this:

But... did anyone else see that glowing staircase/orb thing and get utterly confused?
I absolutely love the multiple locales... OH! Tali confirmed now! I'm not a huge fan of her in the first game, but she developed tons in Me2. I hope she get similar treatment in 3! -spazzes and watches again- So much good stuff! My fears have been laid to rest.

Except for the Cerberus plot. :D

I did play KotOR, yes, but I think this is different. Being in one line doesn't mean it can only have one position like it had in KotOR. It can grow both ways from the middle to represent Paragon/Renegade. At least that's what I thought as soon as I saw it. :)
