Don't bother.
Though ME3 will fail if we don't get more bimbos n catsuits. It's what the fans want. More sexable bimbos in catsuits. Follow the money Bioware~!

There was no debate, dude.  I give two ***** what you supported lol.  You have a habit of doing this schtick here but it won't fly with me, OK?  I said "actual weapon customization" as opposed to purchasing or picking up weapon boosts that really gave you no choice in the matter.  What we see in ME3 bd]does[/b] resemble ME1's weapon mods, at the very least in concept.  Try your best to convince yourself otherwise.

To me, it looks like you are trying to convince yourself, claiming that ME1's concept had:
  • Weapon slots relevant to parts.
  • Visual incentive.
  • Audio incentive.
  • Had actual impact on stats.
  • Didn't use I->X versions.
You also claim that ME2's system had no choice, when you either need to cheat, or you have to mine 90% of the planets to be able to research all of the upgrades at once.

This concept is completely new, with not only positive stat changes when you equip weapons, but also negative for specific upgrades. Not only is the concept different than anything that we have seen before, but so is the execution. Comparing to ME1's is silly at best.

There was no debate, dude.  I give two ***** what you supported lol.  You have a habit of doing this schtick here but it won't fly with me, OK?

Doing this what? You have a problem with my arguments? Prove me wrong, then. Trying to compete with another poster by flaming will do more than give you a slight boost of confidence. It doesn't prove your point. Maybe for you it does, so if reasonable arguments don't fly with you (the ones that you call "schtick" ), then I am very sorry that your best attempt at a response is an aggresive one.

You really didn't need to come to his rescue.  I am not talking about what weapon mods look like. <_<

Lets wait until we see what they do with the other classes and how enemy protections effect said classes, shall we?

Then what are you talking about? Choice?

The choice that also existed in ME2 by:
  • Having to choose which upgrade you want to specialize in (purchase)
  • Ammo powers (which you want gone apparently)

Longer barrel gives a straight damage increase.  Didn't see the other ones.

After I saw the Salarian Councillor on the Normandy I realized that he might be the person who says ''We need a plan to stop them'' in the Fall of Earth trailer.

Fair enough. While I'll be the first to admit that I was quite impressed with what I saw, I still remain cautious until I see what they've done with other classes. Adept in particular. (Yes, I know, I love the Adept a bit too much. Shush.)

The concept of individual modifications that could be added or removed from a given weapon, impacting its performance (regardless of how much impact) was present in ME1.  This is similar (again conceptually) to what we see here in ME3's weapon mod.  I see this as a progression of what we had in ME1, and an abandoning of what was in ME2.  All that other stuff you listed is par for the course as far as game improvements go two sequels later.  What, you want to compare a 2005 game to this one using the same visual/audio standards?

I have no problems with you arguments... just how you come across when you start them.

Not 100% certain, but as I recall, the paragon/renegade bar never appeared on the squad-mate level up screens before. Does this mean squaddies loyalty can be affected, what kind of disposition they have, or both? Or, does it simply mean nothing? March just feels further amd further away...

Thanks.

Erm...Did the guns have any stats?  I ask so that I would have some idea of what I'm getting 25% of.

Actually, yeah they do sound very similar. Maybe the Council arrives on the Normandy for a slice of their own humble pie, apologise to Shepard and formulate a plan. begs the question why Shep is wearing his Cerberus outfit, but I imagine that is placeholder.

Also, at around 25:10, it looks like the Salarian councilor is aboard the Normandy. Hopefully that means his fellow councilors are there.

I can't wait to tell them off for "dismissing" my claims.

Edit: Ninja'd by this:

All classes can hold all weapons so I would assume all weapon mods are availbe for all of them. As for the branching paths I would think adept has the most cause they are so cool :P
