I HATE IT.  It just SCREAMS CoD.  BioWare only cares about 13yr olds.  It would never be in a REAL RPG.

Am sure there will be some facepalm pic responses to this and with every reason...

Either your a pathetic troll or you are just plain stupid with no true grasp of logic like your username character would have.

CoD doesn't and never has had a bar like Paragon/Renegade.

Bioware RPGs in the past have.

This is the same type of bar they used for KotOR.

I'm hoping Paragon and Renegade still fill seperately. I'd hate for my Paragon type play style to have one overall moral standing.

Why is Call of Duty always used as an insult around these parts? It's a completely different game. Get off your high horse and stop being so pretentious just because you have different tastes than the mainstream.

I cant see why it wouldnt, it would totally change the persuasion choices, even if they put points on it (which it looks like they arent, and I like it)

That after all the complaining over the past 48 hours about "BW is just trying to sell to CoD fans, there is no RPG blah blah blah," they reveal awesome new under the hood RPGish features, but people will still find something to whine about, usually in a very obnoxious manner.

You know I looked at it again, and if you look really closely you can see tiny little baby Renegade and Paragon bars, touching but seperate stats.

I hate it too. I hate meta-gaming in every game, i.e. forcing you to maximize behind-the-scene points rather then the option you would have chosen naturally. Like the neutral option in ME2 is very discuraged.

Edit: I see you are joking. I'm not.

The Para/Rene bar doesn't look like CoD to me haha and I know I'm not blind or figure disoriented. However, I like the bar. Although I'm wondering why it's showing on your squad mates skill customization screen.

I agree with you. I hope Bioware will tell us soon how the paragon/renegade bar works in ME3.

How the hell that even hints Call of Duty?!

Only RPG's have that kind of feature!

You are a fail troll.

I do hope it doesn't end up as a linear bar, ala KotOR. I somehow ended up maxing out both of them in ME2 by the time I was done with Overlord without objectively attempting to. Some days I pushed mercenaries out of windows, some days I yelled at the Quarian council, some days I rescued my entire crew. Those aren't mutually exclusive actions, yet with a 'one or the other' system, that would translate to hovering in the middle, deprived of the bonuses of either. Frown.

A potential idea... while I loved interrupts in ME2, I also agree with many peoples concerns regarding losing conversation options. Would it be possible to switch how paragon renegage coversations are governed, and lower many of the requirements for actual conversation wheels, but require some higher speech checks for interrupts? it makes sense from a metagaming standpoint, since interrupts are instinctual and someone who is generally paragon will be less likely to instinctively jump to the renegade interrupt... I am sure that has already been discussed in the past, but awesome to see the bar back!

For all your talk of 13 year olds, who's the one typing caps?

LOCKDOWN, there's already a thread discussing this.
