If you didn't know any better you'd think it was the same game. Is the old UI a placeholder or what?

I'm pretty sure this isn't a ME3 screenshot.

It's from the Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC I think.

No, it's definitely ME3, it's from the demo on Sur'Kesh. However, as others have said, the UI is most likely placeholder

Notice the blue instead of orange.  It's ME3.

I also fail to see the problem.  The ME2 UI was fine IMO.

No it's a ME3 screen from E3. That's what I'm talking about, it looks the same.

The one in Sur'Kesh looks like ME2.

The one in Earth looks better than ME2.

Graphics were never Bioware's forte and graphics alone won't make a game great.

Exactly.

My heart couldn't handle another Dragon Age 2.

Why shouldn't it look like ME2? It is ME2 just with a facelift.
Though don't worry.
Bioware added more bimbos and catsuits to appease the majority of their fans.

Considering this is running on the same hardware as ME2, I'm not sure how much improvements you are expecting here.

Looking at the ME3 demo, I do believe graphics have been enhanced somewhat, especially lighting. But I would not expect sharper texture resolutions or anything similar. It is not going to happen, at least not anything dramatic. Better special effects, better animation, better directing, certainly. But so long as we're looking at console screenshots we should not be hoping for any drastic improvements in graphics.

They did make a few apparent changes, though. Shepard's armour is different, its pauldrons are less pronounced and likely do not clip as much anymore.

He still looks ugly as a mug.

They should have gave Male Shepard a catsuit. Would be much more sexy if they did.

The fact that the UI appears to think that the Mattock is a Vindicator kind of makes it obvious that this is a WIP...

No, catsuits need no judgement. They're perfect.

Everyone should wear them. Especially women in ME3. Hell, women should ONLY wear catsuits. Armor is for men not women. Now Bioware needs to hurry and make this happen.

Also, we need a harem. A Harem of women in catsuits. Men can have muluti LIs at once and they all agree. Women? You're lucky to get even one at a time. That's just how things should roll in ME3.
