A picture from ME3 released by Gamespot. Does anyone else see a figure in that sphere that appears to be in the fetal position? Could this be the rumored bonus Prothean squadmate in stasis?

Any thoughts?

Well would you look at that, there is a dude in there. Good eyes friend, didn't even notice that  after like 20 times looking at this pic.

It could be anything though.

I would find it kind of lame if a prothean somehow survived. Makes the reapers look incompetent and not as dangerous as they sound. I prefer it when they're bad-ass, ultimately powerful, ships that have near limitless power.

Looks way too artistic to be a stasis pod.

This has seriously intrigued me since seeing the video. Prothean is the only explanation I an think of. No one else has anything that looks like this.

Glad I'm not crazy that I saw that in there.

It doesn't look human but it does look pale and bipedal.

I doubt it being a Prothean. Think about it, if we got a Protean he/she/it would be completely oblivious to the current status of the Galaxy, which would make it the "new guy" character. We'd have to explain friggin' everything to it.

And I do know there was that first day DLC thing. I still find it very unlikely.

It could be a geth thing, or something completely new.

Maybe its the real Shepherd and the one from ME2 was a clone or some freak of nature made by Cerberus, maybe in ME3 we get the real Shep and thats why Cerberus is out to kill him/her so no one finds out, lol....just saying

After zooming in, it does look like there's something in there. Something with eyes. Of course, it could just be a shaded blob and we're seeing it as a Prothean because we want to. Either way, I doubt we'll get any confirmation, but good eyes, OP!

I don't think they're doing the Prothean squadmate anymore.

However, it does look like someone/something is in there. I originally thought it was a monument ot something, but I may be wrong.

They already failed, the Protheans on Ilos survived didn't they? And they managed to warn the future races of their fate, giving them a fighting chance against the Reapers. That's a huge fail already.

That's a valid point. Without the Prothean warning giving Shepard those visions Saren and Sovereign would have found some way of bringing in the Reapers and nobody would be the wiser. Without the Protheans the future races couldn't have even stood a shot.
