 Yep, as you saw on the website, Mass Effect 3 has receieved 6 nominations.

These include:

Best of Show
Best Xbox 360 game
Best PC game
Best RPG
Best Trailer
Most Antcipated

I have nothing to say about these nominations, but I think ME3 will probably lose best RPG to Skyrim. Just saying

Hmm that will depend. Skyrim is getting a LOT of flak from the PC side for being further dumb down than Oblivion.

I would give it Best X360 game but GOW3 seems to be pretty determined to win that.

Best trailer would probably go to Halo 4. ;P

I know I'm a Skyrim fanboy and everything but as someone who plays TES games on PC I can confirm that it isn't dumbed down. More spells have been added, spell combinations have been added, perk trees have been added for each skill, dual wielding has been added and the dragon shouts mechanic has been added. The class system and birthsign system that they've stripped from Skyrim was useless in Morrowind and Oblivion so removing them was a good call IMO.

Who cares about E3 awards. The main thing is all Game of the Year awards that ME3 will get! ME2 got like, what? 150? I'm expecting at least 300 GOTY awards from ME3. What? You're saying there aren't that much of them? Well, make some, damn it! Because it's gonna deserve every single of it!

I don't expect ME3 to win more than maybe two of those six. Battlefield 3 looked to me like the best game there.

best 360: gears of war 3
best pc: kotor -- maybe me3
best rpg: skyrim or me3 -- long shot chance for kotor
best trailer: kotor -- i think the halo one will win though
most anticipated: dunno -- to me it is me3.. but im thinking mw3 or bf3 will win this one.. maybe halo 4.

Hard to imagine Nintendo not winning anything though.

to be fair, skyrim needed to do a huge overhaul in its mechanics. oblivion was so poorly designed with its leveling and skill mechanics it was disgusting.

None of that screams RPG to me. Biosock Infinite is an FPS with RPG elements (like most games have now) that doesn't make it an RPG
