I haven't had any problems with my Witch Hunt uploads in Dragon Age II. When I use a Dragon Age; Origins character for Dragon Age II the character goes from Dragon Age: Origins -> Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening -> Golems of Amgarak -> Witch Hunt. I haven't had a messed up flag or issue with hem yet. I've also made my warrior since then and my most recent Rogue build after the patch so I feel safe to say they work (for me anyways).

Does anyone know if it enabled the Witch Hunt plot flag if you went into the portal at the end of it? It should have a mention about it by Alistair (or something other than "He is returning to Denerim")

Not that I'm aware of. Where in the game would they even have a place to mention that? I don't even think Golems had anything to carry over. They might be saving that for DLC or DA3, but again, so far, I have not heard of plot flags from those DLCs carrying into DA2 yet.

As far as I know there are no places in DAII where a Golems or Witch Hunt flag is used. If there was one during the King Alistair quest that RX_Sean mentioned, someone would have found the audio files for it by now.

I can see GoA not having one since there was only one way to do it but there is a referance to the Warden when Alistair is talking. From what I know is that if he/she is dead then that is how it is mentioned but if you are alive then he says that "He/She is returning to Denerim" Which doesn't make any sense with the plot if someone went through Witch Hunt and use the portal. Also Bioware has said originally that the Witch Hunt plot flags weren't activated and tehy would be in the future but I don't know if it has happened with that patch.

I don't think if someone had a save and then got the update that it would mention it correctly since I doubt something like this is retroactive. So it would have to be starting from a fresh save post-patch.

But does the Warden going through the portal mean that he or she will be "elsewhere" forever? I don't think that was ever implied... and the third act of DAII is 4 or 5 years after Witch Hunt.

I heard that as of the latest patch no issues with GoA or WH plot flags have been found. But I've not heard a hard 'yes they're OK'. Is there a way to check with XBox360? Can I look at plot flags?
