If you were watching the livestreamed Q&A, you'll have gotten a quick glimpse of the galaxy map, including a quick zoom-in on Tuchanka.  I managed to grab a quick screencap and figured I'd post it:

Image IPB

Obviously the planet itself is unchanged, but we can get a quick look at a few missions on the surface.

Anyone who got better caps of the galaxy map segment, by all means post them.

Missions:

City Ruins (far-right): Support Aralahk Company
The Shroud (middle-left): Counter Attack Reapers
Downed Vessel (bottom): Search for Survivors

The one that interests me is "The Shroud". The way it is phrased makes it sound like the Borgia Towers from AC:Brotherhood. Take the reapers down on world world and it becomes a hub.

Whoot, I was able to make it out XD

Those quests look awesome!

EDIT: E-Type XR,  the Shroud is mentioned near the bottom of the planet description. Just noticed it XP

Ha! Multiple missions available through a planet scan! Pretty spacey if you ask me and I like it. It's better than riding trucks IMO.

i just noticed that on the pictures with the power wheels, some of the powers have numbers on them. Does this mean that you can execute a certain power a certain amount of times before the global cool-down kicks in?

I hope this doesn't mean there won't be any hub worlds. But I doubt they'd drop those.

One thing Jesse pointed on was how Sol (our solar system) is down at the bottom of the Milky Way... guess which system is right near us, yup... the one Tuchanka is in. Which means am gonna guess Tuchanka will be a bit of a battlefield and not so hub-by as it was in ME2.

Also would lead to speculation of it being where the alleged/rumoured Reaper vs Thresher Maw fight takes place

The Shroud is the mechanical device maintained in orbit at the L1 Lagrange point by the Citadel Demilitarization Enforcement Mission to counteract the high albedo of Tuchanka's surface.  It's kind of key for controlling Tuchanka.
