Who says nonorganics can't be indoctrinated?

Well, it probably isn't indoctrination, but if the heretics were able to develop a virus to make the true geth heretics, then the reapers can too.

We destroyed the heretic base and rewrote MOST of the heretic geth. Legion himself said that those in far off regions from the base would not be affected by the emp/bomb. (it's a small amount though)

That, and indoctrination.

If he's talking about that one then it could be that it was a world that the Heretic Geth has temporarily used as a base. In that particular video, I haven't seen any enemy Geth. Only Cerberus and the Reaper was present. I'm almost 100% positive that the Heretic Geth were rewritten or destroyed depending what action was taken. Legion wouldn't make such mistakes as to let the Heretic Geth run wild again. However.. I'm hoping that we'll see more of the True Geth later to determine whether the Heretic Geth are really done with.

In one of the screenshots you see a Geth with Cerberus colors painted on it. I'm guessing that Cerberus' Project Overload might play a part in their involvement.

So, in other words, reprogramming didn't have any effect? I am disappoint.

What I got from the Codex was that indoctrination only works on organic minds. Which is why Sovereign gave the Heretics a virus with which to infect the rest of the geth. If it could have just indoctrinated them, it wouldn't have needed the virus.

There is a screenshot that shows Shepard fighting a Geth...
I'm guessing it just means that the fate of a world changes or if you rewrote their programming, then you can "hire" them to help you defeat the Reapers; Though regardless of choice, there will likely still be some minor Heretic Geth forces remaining, as was hinted.

I thought indoctrinaton obly worked on organics?

And besides, in ME2 we only rewrote/destroyed ONE heretic base, not all of them.

Speculations... let's talk about it again when the game hits the stores and we play it. Then we can share our experiences in game. As for me, I reprogrammed the heretics and destroyed them with my Renegade Shepard.

But until the game is out... I don't give a damn about speculations :) only facts.

? There's no others heretic base. Oo

The rest are the true geth, those who are indepent from the reapers.

The virus was properly rewritten and Legion was definite that it would work. I have faith in him and I'm sure that at least the Geth that were on that station (was it hundreds of thousands or millions of Geth programs were on that station?) were rewritten. As for the Geth that did not reconnect to the Geth system, I'm sure once they rejoined the system they were rewritten as well. Judging by how Legion was being just as he was to Shepard in the Reaper demo and knowing that he's helping the Quarians out as well, apparently the Geth and Quarians have put aside their differences to stop the Reaper threat.

In that case, the heretics were really stupid for only having one base.

So base = cerberus fight either way.
Geth = geth fight you either way.

Great choice impact.
