So, in other words, reprogramming didn't have any effect? I am disappoint.

The virus was properly rewritten and Legion was definite that it would work. I have faith in him and I'm sure that at least the Geth that were on that station (was it hundreds of thousands or millions of Geth programs were on that station?) were rewritten. As for the Geth that did not reconnect to the Geth system, I'm sure once they rejoined the system they were rewritten as well. Judging by how Legion was being just as he was to Shepard in the Reaper demo and knowing that he's helping the Quarians out as well, apparently the Geth and Quarians have put aside their differences to stop the Reaper threat.

I wasn't doubting that the rewriting didn't work, to be clear. I was just saying that it would have been for nothing if they just turn back against you all of a sudden.

I think that's Cerberus geth,remember Overlord?

They never had control over geth. As soon as they plugged David in, it went downhill. Possible that they finally got him to work if you left him to them (you monster). But i doubt that.
I guess the Geth are either surviving heretics, newly reprogrammed by the Reapers or the geth you reprogrammed renewed their decision to worship the reapers.

Also guys, remember that the Geth are NOT individuals they are all united even though there are individual Geth programs; one program being Legion. They share the same mind and thoughts although some have different opinions. If one Heretic Geth station is rewritten, others should be rewritten as well once they connect to the Heretic Geth hubs. It doesn't matter if it's a different station, the Geth (True or Heretic) are all intertwined. Legion can clarify this because he said that once the Heretic Geth have become True Geth, Legion will know their past and current experiences

It can be related with overlord DLC. The geth may be with cerberus.

So base = cerberus fight either way.
Geth = geth fight you either way.

Great choice impact.

And curing genophage regardless of what you did with the data in Mordin's loyalty.

Here is my educated guess...
-----

For the people who killed the Geth in ME2 (Destroyed/Renegade) you'll deal with less Geth.

For the people who re-wrote the Geth in ME2 (Virus/Paragon) you'll deal with more Geth, BUT you'll also have more Geth on your side. Some may have been corrupted again but you probably have majority of them working for you / Legion.

OR..as most people have said - Project Overlord may have something to do with it. That mixed with the minor pockets of Geth that refuse to re-connect because they believe in the Reapers 100%.

So all in all; the Paragons might get a little "crapped on" but they also will probably get more allies to back up against all those enemies.

Yeah, sadly that would be so very disappointing if it didn't work. I don't even want to think about the possibility of it not working because personally I helped the True Geth regain their lost Geth brethren and if it failed, it was a pure waste.:( If anything, there'd be a lot of Geth to kill and unfortunately, the Quarians and Heretic Geth would continue to still go at it.

I feel exactly the same way. ;) Here's hoping they keep to their words on how big of an impact our choices make in ME3.
