So it seems. I loved the trailer - has the Reapers and the threat they pose with a nice VO, has a great music (given, that's up to taste but hey, if OP's opinion is the truth, so is mine) and really pumps me up for everything that's to come with some nice gameplay footage. Couldn't be happier.KotorEffect3 wrote...

I like Michael Bay. But, no, he didn't direct the trailer.
Haha. I just had to chuckle when I saw this. But one thing's certain. The Reapers sound like the enemy Transformer robots with that robotic sound just like how the Human-Reaper Larvae sounded.
Maybe the head reaper will be none other than Megatron himself

And oh,I really like the trailer a lot: " We need a plan to stop the Reapers - we fight or we die, that's the plan."
I've gotta say, that is probably the dumbest plan i've ever heard.

Then all of the sudden in the darkest hour the Autobots will show up and Optimus Prime alongside Gundams driven by Anderson and the Alliance start annihilating the Reapers. Epic yo!

It reminded me more of the fan-made Half-Life 2: Escape from City 17 short, but maybe that was mostly because of the husk bit.tobynator89 wrote...
I dunno about the reveal trailer, but the live action invasion trailer had a very bungieesque feel to it. reminds me of all the amazing live action halo shorts that they have made.

Nobody here asked if you had a degree lmao. The only reason I mentioned I go to college is because people thought I was a 12 year old on break from school, and not discussing the trailer. I just thought they could have done a better job with the trailer to hype the game up. But I' sure it won't matter in the end since I'm sure ME3 will be good regardless. This was just to discuss the trailer.sumoaltus wrote...

He doesnt make good movies, but he makes movies I enjoy. I mean sometimes explosions, giant robots and good looking girls are just something I want to look at.
Yeah, I don't watch a Michael Bay film expecting high art. I watch a Michael Bay film when I want to see an old fashioned ass whooping.

But, hey, I love Michael Bay! Who else lets you eat popcorn and drink soda while watching a train wreck?

It's like the reaper assumed direct control.

The game is about a WAR. Not a session with Dr. Phil. Thousands of machines showed up and are killing off people by the millions....what exactly did you expect the trailer to show. I mean seriously....this is getting kinda dumb. There is no way to show case a game about a galactic war without focusing on the WAR, itself.

News flash: Michael Bay didn't pioneer action sequences. These types of things, this type of scenery, existed long before him, "Halo" or the "COD" series.

ME3 is a shooter not a RPG. That's why it's geared towards Halo and COD players.RECON64BIT7 wrote...
The trailer was not good at all, and didn't really portray what the Mass Effect series is really about. It seemed to be geared towards Halo(Omni-blade) and Call of Duty players. Poor music choice, and the trailer showed stuff already seen.

What do you want out of the trailer? A montage of people talking and assigning attribute points?
