Do some people come on here for the sole purpose of whining?

Yep, that's why I don't come here too often. To call themselves Bioware fans, they really hate them sometimes.

And Bay is great in my opinion, if he had a better direction with actors and story, he could make a great ME film.

Time to run away before some guys light up torches and try to kill me.

*Yay, i only see whining and i've been lurking the forums for about 9 months, way to go*
I mean, come on, if you think you can direct the game better, do one yourself, if not then aport your constructive opinion about lacking elements, or even better, if you are a college student then prove them wrong but i doubt it will happen, because they prefer to WHINE before that.

so your saying that the mass effect series isn't about struggling to get everyone to prepare(fight) the reapers to survive...you might want to replay the series

There wasnt even this much ****ing about DAII which I liked by the way. I blame the new PS3 forumers we have since the ME series went cross platform. They will find anything to whine about. The trailer was awesome.

I agree. The trailer needs to be more sophisticated and refined.

British Guy: "Shepard warned us....that he was going to have tea, but we didn't listen. Now the fate of his cup, of all our cups, relies on whether we can get enough sugar in time.

<cue cheesy classical music>

1 min, 15 seconds later.

Voice: "What's the plan? What are we going to do with all these crumpets?

Shepard: "We eat them, or we throw them away. That's the plan."

Poor music choice? That music makes me want to go out to a bar and pick a fight. I cannot wait for 3-6-12 to arrive so I give all Reapers the dirt naps they deserve.

If you are fighting a galactic-sized war against a race of sentient starships dead set on your unquestionable eradication without explosions and action happening every second, then you're doing it wrong and are more than likely dead.

If you tell a huge, elaborate story in a trailer, then you are doing it wrong and are more than likely spoiling everything. It's an appetizer; it's not meant to fill you up but whet your appetite.

And I liked the music...

Yeah, it's really getting out of hand now with the whining. I've never seen so much of it

Ahah, if you want to see epic whining, head over to Battlefield 3 forums. Here it's pretty tame in comparison.

Like for example, I haven't seen many things like "omg they haven't put tali in a trailer, i'm cancelling my preorder NAO!!1"

I'm actually quite surprised that I didn't like the trailer; I've liked all of the previous ME trailers. The VO and music were pretty good but I felt that the gameplay footage made it kind of.. meh. I much preferred the ME2 launch trailer (I think it was that), where they used mostly in-game cinematics.

Doesn't matter to me at all though, I think the game is going to be amazing.

I love how if the combat doesn't suck, they must be ruining Mass Effect for Call of Duty tards.

One. Micheal Bay (being a music video and commercial director) REALLY understands how to make a trailer. So I think you did the Bioware staff a compliment.

Second. The trailers showed us many things we have not seen. And I recognized at least one leit motif from a previous Mass Effect game... so I think the music was excellent.

You, sir, are just wrong.

This.

Michael Bay is not the guy you want directing your feature film but he is definitely the guy you want editing your trailer.

I like Michael Bay. But, no, he didn't direct the trailer.

Haha. I just had to chuckle when I saw this. But one thing's certain. The Reapers sound like the enemy Transformer robots with that robotic sound just like how the Human-Reaper Larvae sounded.

Maybe the head reaper will be none other than Megatron himself

Then all of the sudden in the darkest hour the Autobots will show up and Optimus Prime alongside Gundams driven by Anderson and the Alliance start annihilating the Reapers. Epic yo!

Dont forget about having the Volus dressed up as Ewoks.

:pinched:

That reminds me of one of the greatest lines in NBA history, during a Houston-Utah game in the 1997 Playoffs, when Dr. J - doing announcing work - said, "I think the key for Houston will be when Hakeem [Olajuwon] gets the ball, how fast he decides to either shoot, dribble, or pass."

You people bashing a trailer need to move on it's a trailer dang it it's supposed to show stuff not play the whole story to you. Why do you people keep on bringing up Call of Duty and shooters saying that they are for people with IQ's less then 5, you people need to get slapped and move on with your life that clearly is freaking out over a trailer for a video game.
