If you watch the ME3 gameplay again, the thermal clip ejected is WRONG. It looks like they have Shepard ejecting the whole thermal clip as opposed to one of the heat sinks as shown in ME2.

I hope they correct this before the game is released.

Hahaha, I can't lie. Tiny things like that obviously won't stop me from buying it in any sense, but when I notice them, they bore into my brain and it ends up bugging the crap out of me.

I'm sure Bioware/EA will collapse from the financial burdens of producing this game if you dont buy it because you dont like the look of the thermal clip eject mechanism.

So you can actually see something in those 5 nanoseconds that the reload animation lasts for?

yeah the animation seems to be a little to quick to me.

I'm more concerned with the extremely fast reload animation, I hope it was just speed up for the demo, it looks really out of place.

obviously a joke about it being a deal breaker.  who cares what shepherd ejects and reloads with?  if it looks like a clip im cool.  if he reloads with broccoli i'll be a bit disapointed

It would be funny if squadmates, or Shepard, occasionally ejected a thermal clip onto their armor and reacted from the burning. IRL, if you fire around people long enough you might catch an ejected casing on exposed skin and man does it burn.

One thing they don't show:

Shepard inserting a fresh heat sink into the weapon. Image IPB

I'm sure that a lot of people (especially romance-able squadmates) care a great deal about what Shepard ejects and reloads with...

Sorry I just couldn't let that opportunity get away - not any worse than Garrus' heat sink metaphor. :D

Haha, well I noticed it so obviously someone else eventually would have. I looks like Shepard is ejected the whole clip, which is WRONG. Shepard only ejects the tiny heat sinks within the thermal clip (look at the Zaeed loyalty mission to see what I mean).

This just looks sloppy.

I don't mind the reload speed but if they are gonna break up the firefight for THAT BRIEF of a time to "reload" your gun, why not just cut it out completely...?

I was always assuming he was slapping one in the one side when the old one got ejected out the other.

Being former military, I can confirm this......I still have a burn scar from an M4 shell casing on my chest.......ouch....
