I saw a recent trailer where the release date was 9-3-12. Although before I saw Q1 2012 and I though I saw an official date listed for March 2012.

If the date has been pushed back to September 2012, then I still have hope for this game. Honestly, i was put off by the E3 demos and it would be a lot of time to add thick exploration and the like. Work on UI and stuff.

Is this the release date? If so, was it changed? I honestly haven't been following ME3 at E3 too close because like i said, i was put off by the first demo and trailer and it made me frustrsted.

It's march 6th. Dont't make a new topic about this. You must have misread 6-3-12 which is 6th of march according to european order. In america it is 3-6-12

9-3-2012 is an American date for March 9

The date 9-3-12 is for the world wide release of the game. it will be released in the US on the 6th March 2012 and the rest of the world 9th March 2012.

Source or it didn't happen. Besides, 9 months is a hell of a lot of time to polish a game and work on it.

If BioWare takes their time and doesn't release it until it's ready then I'm happy.  I won't cry if that release date is pushed back.

I could cry if it took as long as say: Duke Nukem Forever, Prey, HL2 Ep 3?

I want the best game they can deliver; but at the same time, my patience to acquire that game is only so long!

(okay I admit it, I preordered Duke. I'm such a sucker.)

It's the other way around actually.

March 6th in North America, March 9th worldwide.

It's the European release date, as others have said. 9 (9th) - 3 (March) - 12 (2012)

I seriously hate so much that we (UK) get it 3 days later. I'd pay for a copy from the US but that probably wouldn't arrive until after the 9th anyway.
