As a male, even though I play female characters, I have no interest in guys, even in fanatasy games. If I romance at all it would be the F/F option. I love talking to the party members, hearing their stories and all but only two really appeal to me, Morrigan and Lelianna regardless of my playthrough. I find Allister to be a bit whiney, but overall a good person and I usually kill Zevran because he's a traitor.
That being said, I do enjoy playing female characters, especially in Bioware games. The story seems more interesting to me with a heroine because it is not common in fantasy literature (as far as I have read). I guess you could call me a fan of stories with a strong female character who kicks arse.
So, do you male players playing as female characters...
