I can't wait to see how that casual hoody looks on Shep.

If you look in some of the recent 'versions' of the ME3 CE picture description, that has been taken out. I asked Silverman for an official updated list, and i've yet to hear anything

Wait, wait, wait.

Wait. They have cut -that- out now too? At this rate there won't be anything left! I mean why cut out the hoody? What kind of development resources does that take? I swear if it gets released as DLC I will make a disgruntled post on these very forums. I may use... Emoticons.

/deadlyserious.

No really, I was looking forward to that too. In fact when I was talking to a fellow ME fan earlier today who isn't getting the CE the main thing I gloated I was getting was that stupid in game hoody. :P It was just totally out of left field and 'for the fans' to me. Ugh. Really skeptical that the UK will get the N7 patch as well, which would really make a mockery of the price tag.

I'm also disappointed that there won't be an "Uber" CE after all, but... that's the way life works sometimes. :/

It just says "Limited edition Mass Effect comic by Dark Horse Comics"

But I don't think I'll be happy with whatever Dark Horse can produce. Never. not after this.

Who ok'ed that? Seriously? It looks more like something that "Toon Disney" would release.

I...what is...what...why? *twitches*

Yeah...um...BW? We need to talk... :?

To be perfectly honest, I don't mind at all... In my book, little dolls and the sort are pretty much useless; A cheap gimmick and / or add-on.

I'd much rather have the 70 pages art-book and a more affordable price. In other words, perfect über CE for me.

Aw and I made a post in the CE thread and everything! Well, I'd rather have made a silly post and be wrong than have it cut. Hopefully it's just crossed wires somewhere then.

Yeah but then all Dark Horse stuff is fairly bad, I would like to see what 2000AD could do with the licence

So you guys measure worth, according to the front cover...?! Good to know; I guess the inner content is pretty much irrelevant.

I guess the team won't be able to produce a special item on par with the night cvision goggels that was in another special edition of a game - they can't keep every promise. But, it's a major dissapointment that they can't make a proper edition to represent the success and appreciation of the ME trilogy.

I had been expecting a model atleast of some sort.

You obviously haven't seen the menu page of the force unleashed game. It reflects the game.;)<_<

You would be right.  Sadly, with Dark Horse's BW comics, the cover is usually the best part. :(

Gee, no model you're going to thrown out in 2 years. That's too bad. It's horrible; now we only get an alternate appearance pack and an extra character! Awwwh, what a drag! I know the extra character and alternate appearance pack are going to be way better, but at least I can stare at the model all day.

Redemption wasn't that great but it wasn't that bad either IMO. Evolution at least got things going and fleshed out a bit more bot Saren and the Illusive Man... I enjoyed it greatly, even though I wouldn't say it's worthy of accolades or something like that. ;)

Covers are important marketing tools and can be used to gauge the content provided within, however with the Dark Horse comics the content is barely passable and I would prefer the comics given to someone who could do the series justice.

The opposite can also be true last time I checked... Great cover art, yet the inner content br pretty much ****** poor. Again, measuring the worth of something having in mind the front cover makes no sense to me.

Also, last time I checked, the comics were written by Marc Walters. It's not like you can actually blame Dark Horse comics for the storyline not being worthy of accolades IMO.

Yes you can get great covers with rubbish content, my point was if you have a bad cover (like the Dark Horse comic covers are) you will be less likely to get someone to buy it as an impulse buy as the only thing you are going on is the cover.
I actually liked the story, its the art and pacing which is Dark Horse that I didn't like.

But then again, it's a matter of personal taste, unless you have a way to prove that front cover is universally reviled.

I'm pretty happy with the CE we got; Not saying I'd say no to a bigger, more expensive option, but if this is what they're doing, I'll take it. (preordered day 1)

I read on silvermans' twitter that he said the "limited edition" IS the uber edition. -___- I like it sure, but i was hoping for what BW was pitching before - the nomandy model with the top coming off and the galaxy map lighting up. Sure theyre already preselling a replica, but i kinda wanted something...well you know....UBER in a special bundle for me3. With as much money they make, they could easily make a small trinket in there. A small long service medal wouldve been nice too. *sigh* ah well...imma get it anyways.
