...on Ashley with Miranda . After todays Q&A session concerning the LI, I think Ashley is not in the cards for me. Miranda is just hit and quit it chick, Ashley is good for my Shepard. Do you think I will have a choice in ME3 between the two If I "cheated" in ME2 —or is your ME1 Li going to hold it against you. I'm sure this was discussed in ME2 forum.

I don't think your LIs will hold it against you too much if you "cheated" on them. They might be a little upset, but you didn't really "cheat." You can only culminate the ME2 romances after your previous LI decided you guys were broken up. Unless you straight up slept with Jack as soon as possible, you haven't cheated.

On the other hand, though, if you're willing to seriously use a phrase like "hit it and quit it" to describe a female peer, do you really deserve a strong, independent woman like Ashley? My vote would be a resounding "no."

Heh. Cheating. Politicians do it all the time! It wouldn't hurt to do so in a video game, because you can always replay certain sequences...

I really hope it would be more of a confrontation rather than an off-hand remark.

Hehe, I wasn't serious with "hit it and quit it" remark, though how else would your ME2 LI take it if you ended up with your ME1's LI. Especially considering Miranda likes it in the engine room, with windows to Jacob & Mordin and Tali & Jack in the other room.

I cheated on Liara with Miranda. We're still best friends though... Next time, be sure you cheat on someone who will appear one way or the other on the game later on, as part of a DLC.

I didn't cheat on my Liara..survived Miranda's dynamite ass, Tali's kindness and Jack's "tomboyness".

I cheated on Ash for Tali in one of my playthroughs. I am intrigued at how Bioware might handle this, considering both were in ME1 and Ash was somewhat biased against aliens in that game. Maybe she's changed now, I don't know.

If you don't mind me asking, how did you do that...?! Don't know about others, but I only consider a "relationship" as such in ME after the deed has been done.

The relationship is still flagged as active, though, even if you don't sleep with them, according to the game.

I don't think you should have a choice. The outcome should depend on the character's personality; Ashley should be pissed and refuse to have anything to do with you romantically if you cheated on her with Miranda. And Miranda should keep digging you as one of her conquests; something to flaunt.

I'm aware of that, since even though I was a total ass to Liara in one of my playthrougs, she still wants me... Either way, still doesn't make that much sense in my book, but that's just me of course.

Ironically enough, I decided to be loyal to her during my ME2 playthrough with that character; Weird. :innocent:

If you romanced anyone in ME1 then cheated by romance someone else in ME2. I'd say they won't be please to see, but after Lair of the Shadow Broker(in case you're romance Liara then later cheated on her) game still allow you to choose. I'm just saying it could work like that in ME3, either ditch ME2 love interest and go back...or continue your relationship with ME2 love interest.

If I had the choice in ME1 I would've gone with Tali but I just went with Ash for a sort of default/avoiding forever alone syndrome...but then ME2 happened!

Yep, they've said that if you cheated on your ME1 love interest there would be a love triangle that would get resolved by the end of the game, so I'm guessing your actions during ME3 will affect who you end up with by the end. Similar to LotSB I'm guessing where you had to choose if you wanted to stay with your ME2 love interest or return to Liara.
