I cheated on Ash for Tali in one of my playthroughs. I am intrigued at how Bioware might handle this, considering both were in ME1 and Ash was somewhat biased against aliens in that game. Maybe she's changed now, I don't know.

If you bring Ashley on the elevator with Tali she's actually very sympathetic to the Quarian plight, and actually hopes that Tali's involvment would help change other species views of the Quarians.

I just calls 'em as I sees 'em. Miranda and Ashley are women who have earned respect, and my Shepard conducts himself accordingly. If others' Shepards choose differently, the results of their actions should reflect that they made different choices.

I'm sure my Shep will catch hell from Ashley for hooking up with Tali, too. In fact, I hope it happens. That would be really dramatic and cool.

Hehe, I wasn't serious with "hit it and quit it" remark, though how else would your ME2 LI take it if you ended up with your ME1's LI. Especially considering Miranda likes it in the engine room, with windows to Jacob & Mordin and Tali & Jack in the other room.

I doubt anybody involved would be happy, and Shepard would probably end up a sad, lonely panda.

Honestly, I'm expecting something around those lines... Liara will probably have Feron, while Ashley will have Vega or whatever. I mean, even Kaidan mentions in his e-mail to female Shepard that he was seeing some doctor on the citadel.

Life goes on, with or without THE Shepard I guess.

I'm pretty sure you'll be able to choose between them in ME3. Maybe. Probably. I'm expecting basically but I wouldn't be surprised if Bioware locks you out of starting that relationship if you cheated. It's be interesting if you could dump your ME2 LI and then try to repair your ME1 relationship though. Seems a little too neat if you could just dump your ME2 LI and then just immediately have your ME1 LI take you back without some kind of work.

It's the ethics of the matter that count. If someone is willing to forsake a previous relationship in a game, if someone willing to kill someone just because they don't like them, even in a fictional game. It shows a glimpse of what kind of person that is in real life.
