When's more DLC coming?

As for the trollers at the beginning of this thread. Honestly get a life, move on, go troll some other forum; if all youre gonna do is list diatribe after diatribe of how you feel you wasted you money. You must think youre pretty special if you think people actually care about your latent cynicism and endlessly sarcastic comments. But really no one cares. There are those of us who enjoyed this game, and are looking forward to more dlc and announcments regarding the franchise. The Bioware team, (including John Epler) must have an endless amount of patience to deal with the obnoxious ones that troll on this forum.

Well it looks like John Epler is back to encourage his 'enhanced' version of freedom of speech.
You do realize that, because these forums are Bioware property, "freedom of speech" isn't an issue. People can kick you off their private forums for ... well, anything ... just as you don't have the freedom to go into a 7-11 and throw racial epithets at the guy behind the counter. Besides which, a lot of people get "freedom not to be imprissoned for voicing your opinions" confused with a fictional "freedom to say anything you want without being held accountable for it". Along with Freedom of speech comes Responsibility of speech.
As for the DLCs, I am really looking forward to seeing something come out, but I encourage BW to take as much time as it needs to make it a quality, interesting product that enhances the story and game experience as a whole. It has only been a couple months since the game was released, it just seems longer because we all jumped on our machines as soon as it came out and finished it in a week. People get upset about rushed products, but if you actually consider how quickly the audience starts clammoring for new material after a game is released, you can perhaps appreciate why these products get rushed.
Back in the day you bought a game, played it through, then waited years for an expansion or sequel. In general the turn around is much faster these days ... which only makes people even more impatient for the next release.

Back in the day, it took years to play a game. (In the absence of internet hints as much as how large they were.)
But, I just had a read through this thread. I hope the devs have noticed how many of us are waiting for sexy qunari moments.

Seriously though, I would love to see more Qunari, not just Kossith, but those humans and elves who follow the Qun, male or female (though females won't be warriors unless they no longer follow the Qun).

Or can't deal with the fact that this game is one Jar Jar Binks short of a Clone Wars movie...
You are guaranteed the right to speak (in America, at least), but at no time are you guaranteed to have someone else provide you a forum for what you want to say, no matter now intelligent or innane your comments are.

I don't like to troll myself, but there's a part of me that almost makes me want to take that as a challenge.

I was a bit depressed after accessing the Genesis DLC recently for ME2. It was a useful add-on if you hadn't gotten a good ME1 playthrough in the hopper, but it skimmed over a lot of plot points. It also wasn't accurate to the character models (Wrex was missing his facial scars, for example; and Garrus was armed with two pistols! In one scene, it looks like Garrus is flying).
I'm not planning on downloading another interactive comic book if they offer it as a DLC for DA2.

By DLC, you mean story-content, right? I like story content or new areas to explore (like the Warden's Keep DLC for DAO). To be honest, I'm not very excited by alternate outfits or prank gifts or things like that; I don't usually spend money on those items.

Considering that DA2 came with three different endings for Origins, if one didn't have a save game, I doubt we'll be seeing something like the interactive comic for the DA series any time soon. If you saw, Mike Laidlaw's thread "Thank You" we got three new screenies that most people, including yours truly think may be part of the next DLC which is promised to be story related. Don't know much more than that. I've tried bribing Mike with beer, if he and the DA team end up here for Wizard... I may even spring for really GOOD pizza too...
Hint Hint... I am happy to bribe with the best food and drink Chicago can offer if we can get some news... Please?

That said ... Hey Mike! If you're at PAX this year the offer for dinner and/or drinks is totally on the table!

Hopefully there will be some announcement soon. Im sure the dev team want to be thorough and efficient. If history is an indicator. DAO was released Nov 3 2009, Awakening came out mid March 2010. So about four months or more would be ideal. So that puts us somewhere in July for DLC...Hopefully. Im just glad Hawke will be in the dlc.

The devs on the forums are actually really smart, nice and respectful and listen to people yet a lot of people are still pretty self entitled and desperately try to villainize Bioware constantly and try to prove anyone who likes DA 2 that they are an idiot or try and make them look bad...its only a select few people on the forum I see but it does irritate me a little
Also I think the next DLC will involve Grey Wardens and the Grey Warden base(s) in the Free Marshes or something...just judging by the Griffon banners.

I'm pretty sure games designers only go for a beer with you if you cosplay as a character from their game. I wonder who I can snag with this Sister Petrice outfit.

From what I know, I think you could get more pull with tons of science lab equipment for say...the fifth floor.

BTW, it's not Trolling if it's the truth. I think some folks confuse venting and frustration with trolling. My statement above is the truth because any of us that played the game know it is. I'm frustrated because I know they could have done better with it, and should do better with any DLC or expansion pack. I think they were rushed when they made the game, so I am willing to wait for DLC as long as it's good DLC or a good expansion pack. But I tell you if I gotta take anymore trips to the Wounded Coast I'm gonna lose my mind!

Don't lie. Most of the people in this forum have worked at least one service job in their lives--which probably explains some of their inherent embitterment, actually--and while you certainly aren't flippin' burgers for us corpulent, impatient troglodytes demanding our daily injection of several thousand calories 30 seconds faster than is humanly possible or else we'll file a screeching, expletive-laden complaint with management, you are still providing a service (of sorts) to us self-entitled consumers, and we all know what goes down behind closed doors in that sort of situation.
Curse away, good sir. My interest in not having my account muted/banned is certainly the only thing that's holding my tongue when it comes to certain people's behavior here, and I don't have an emotional investment in DA2 beyond the fact that I enjoyed it, in spite of its numerous flaws, so it goes without saying that I have far more respect for Bioware employees given their professionality in this matter.
Besides, most rational people here are already making fun of the offending posters in quiet, anyway.
