Anderson is old school.
Besides, you wanna tell Anderson he's saying it wrong? Or more to the point, you wanna say it to his fists?!?

Maybe "ammo" has become a nickname for thermal clips, since there's not much need for soldiers to talk about actual ammo?

That might work if it had started in ME2, but the thermal clip system had been around before ME2 started. Also, Shepard starts off the game saying "This pistol doesn't have a thermal clip." Not "This pistol doesn't have any ammo." It's not the end of the world, but it's just a consistency error. I'm slowly getting more and more worried that this game is becoming even less of an RPG to cater to the "casual (in my opinion, stupid)" audience.

Not trollon' bro. Just a little annoyed by the tad lack of consistency. I saw the weapon and power customization and that made me verry happy.

people calling clips for a majority of modern guns is grossly innaccurate they're not clips at all lol, but people still call them clips and people understand what they mean.

THANK YOU, this customization looks wonderful. You guys definitely hit the sweet spot between ME1 and ME2 with weapon customization and talent tree progression. This looks wonderful. I was stoked as I was watching the weapon mods but when I saw that talent tree come up, I had a deep breath of relief. I don't really know what else to say but thank you.
Also, Mark Meer is on TOP of his game. He sounds incredible, really.
ALSO, thank you for the damage taking animation. No more veins, YAY!

Entirely off topic, but does anyone else think Mark Meer has gotten better at voice acting?
Well, one would hope that after 3 games he would get better. I mean it makes sense.

I may have to play a male Shepard in ME3.
On topic, I like that I can turn my gun into a boom stick.

I would say those are the bare minimum expected from a game that is still an RPG at heart (or at least claims to be). Shooters have had similar or greater customization mechanics. I don't even see the point of having ammo-type skills (and not item based) unless they expect you to play soldier as default, which like 70% of people do.
It is a start I guess.

Do people really think those are some kind of uber-shut-everyone-up-customization options? People have too low standards these days. SMH

Yes. He got better between ME1 and ME2 and he's gotten better again for ME3.
