I've tried to find an answer to my question, but it looks to me as if this is a glitch in the game. I'm stuck at Redcliffe during the defense of Redcliffe at night. I killed the undead at the top of the hill and when I try to go down the hill torwards the town center to fight of the undead nothing happens. No undead show up. I ran around the whole twon over 20 times and found no undead and the quest won't progress. This is also on the PS3. Can anyone help please?

Are you waiting for the NPC Knight to come and get you from the hill before you go down? Or are you just leaving on your own?
You have to kill all the darkspawn until someone from down below comes to get you, don't leave beforehand.

Yes, after they came I went down. It autosaved, and no undead came out when I got to the town center.

Don't know what to tell you then... Try reloading from an earlier save point adn playing though Redcliff again imo...

My situation is exactly the same, no more undead are coming on top of the hill but no one came to get me.
My level increased during the battle, and as soon as no more undead were attacking, i hit space and level'd up.
Could that be the problem?
I only have one save, AFTER this happened, the game saved itself!
Do I have to play through everything up to here again?!

After waves of undead, even after the defense of the lower town, they suddenly stopped coming at me.
All the NPC's would say something along the lines of 'there must be more of them'. But it seemed there weren't.
So then I started to run around the map and I found one lonely undead, apparently lost in the 'intricate maze' of Redcliffe.
I killed the bastard and cutscene ensued.

There are some pathfinding bugs sometimes with the undead. It is likely one of them got stuck, and has to be killed in order to progress. If it's far enough away, you may not even be in combat mode. I'd suggest at least seeing if that's the problem.

i need to find a way to defeat the undead at the hill, i set traps so when they run down my crew is there, but sir perth and his men just chill at the back and dont even come up the hill, what do i do? i just got the game n im loving it

lure them, use your tank ,go up the hill until they all notice you, then come back down the hill trailing a whole wave. The NPCs will engage them once they come close. Around that time you unload all your party's awesomeness on them.
I also had a stuck situation where all the undead was er, dead but nothing else happens, I had to reload an auto save and replay the whole place.

okay so i think ive done that part, it went into a cutscene and a soldier came to tell me there more in the village, so we went down and theres so many,and my useless stone warrior shale does little damage and im all out of health poutices as well lyrium, lol might have to go back a bit n make some

Stuck at Recliffe all the mobs are dead, when over the whole area 5 times, anybody have any idea, this is on a PC. Just bought the game a few days ago, and the redeem is out dated in very small print, the customer service at both BioWare and Ea sucks. Last time I buy a game from those companies.
