i am pleased greaty, the game looks more cinematic, the gameplay looks improved and awsome, the new modding and level up system ROCKS, and i think they are giving it their all on this one. i think this game will live up to hype...lets just hope that this masterpiece isnt buried under 0 scores by users like DA2 was.

what are you guys thoughts

Character skills look much more advanced than I was honestly expecting. We didn't see too much about weapons but it's still very welcome. At this point I'm cautiously optimistic.

yeah i think the skill tree is awsome, it looks more in depth then the skill trees in the first one.

I have mixed feelings to be honest.

Thus far, I haven't seen anything i'd consider "bad", but at the same time, I feel like that Bioware touch is missing to be honest. Again, I understand their vision and what they are trying to achieve, as well as - most likely - the pressure from the top dogs down at EA, but still, this is not what I envisioned when I finished the original ME for the first time, almost four years ago.

I had something totally different in mind, when it comes to story and gameplay. Still, once more, I'm not saying it looks terrible, on the contrary... Just not what I originally thought of.

So far the Bioware team is meeting their promises, so I'm pretty happy with their progress.
(I hope I've written well that sentence ... Sorry if I wrote it bad, English isn't my natal language)

Just take out the "with" and put a comma after "promises" and you nailed it.

But yeah, I think this game is looking pretty darn sweet. Especially the cinematic levels. The Earth rampage was jaw dropping.

ME1 only had three worthy 'RPG' mechanics. Powers, weapons and armor. So far we've seen the first two. Now if they were to show some of the armor customization, then the complaints would pretty much dry up.

This game might actually get a 10/10 this time around from GameInformer. Beat ME2's 9.75 score!

You had best be knocking on wood hard, friend. There is an old saying about counting eggs before they hatch.

I have mixed feelings, insofar that the game looks amazing- but there are aspects that concern me, mostly regarding the ME3 crew. The story is really important for me, so I'm waiting for more information.

I'm still more excited for Skyrim, but ME3 looks very posh.

well so far it seems like people either like it or have mixed feelings, at least no one is hateing it. its getting more positive feedback then DA2 did when it was announced so thats a start.

Thanks for the tip!
I'll correct the sentence right now.  ^_^

I'm excited that they are bringing The Witcher to Xbox 360, and yes, Skyrim looks awesome, but as a die hard ME fan I am the most excited for Mass Effect 3.

If this continues then ME3 will have 10 out of 10 for me and only 1 game ever got that score for me.
And it's not Mass Effect 2( 9/10).

The graphics look surreal, the gameplay has been vastly improved, there's more customization, and the story seems to be full-swing right from the beginning instead of ME1's non-existent threat and ME2's detour filled adventure.

I just wish they would have changed Ashley's design a bit more or shown her in combat just so we would stop with all this superficial Q_Q
