Could anyone please tell me how to get past the spinning "buzzsaw trap". It is probably very simple but, it is driving me crazy.

Well, I didn't do it elegantly, but I did it. I prefer not to use a rogue, because all the flippity floppity makes it hard to advance if your timing is off. Basically, go in the pattern of the right half of an X, where the center of the X is that empty (trapless) spot on the left in the middle, and start when that center square of spikes on the right pops up. I'm giving you advice from memory (just a couple of days old, though), so I hope I'm recalling properly (and explaining well enough). Good luck!

lol I remember doing it properly the first time (somehow disarming it/not getting hit by it), but for my latest play-through I couldn't get it working so just ran a S&S warrior through it with shield defence on. It somehow stops the knockback effect so as long as you don't die (which leaves you stuck in the middle if it happens) you should be fine haha.
I think I remember something about only been able to disarm it after sorting out everything down below, but I'm not sure if that's just for the switch on the other side of the room (so doesn't really change anything)
Haha goodluck

All of those traps have a hidden disabling switch somewhere very close, detectable by a rogue.

And most of them also probably require 40 Cun to see and disarm.
