I can only hope that they add an option to toggle that crap off... Don't know why I'm so angry.
Stupid squadmate pictures at the bottom of the screen are back.

I know it's a small thing, but it's so annoying ridiculous. I don't need to be constantly reminded which two squadmates I have with me. ME1 worked just fine with out the squad bubbles. It's just straight up ugly and stupid. If I really forgot or wanted to know which side Garrus is on, I'd just hit RB.

Didnt annoy me, in fact I found them useful, moreso because of the cooldown bar underneath their pic.
It helped to know when I could time things to let loose with a warp bomb, or send Kasumi off for another backstab.

I guess a toggle would help. Some of us don't rely on the tactical pause and kinda need the two images to tell us which side our squadmates are on.

Yeah man.. you need to chill
I think it's important to have those mini images there. It also shows which squadmate is getting damaged. Some people have short-term memory (not me) so they probably will forget at times by which members he/she has chosen. It helps keep organization on tip-top shape

Agreed OP not a fan of the faces, would prefer they get the axe but will be more than happy with a toggle.

I know a lot of people don't like them, and when I first played ME 2, they confused me, but they're really not so bad. They're better than miniature, unreadable text any day.

All good points, but they could at least move all that info under the weapon box like in ME1. Just maybe a tad smaller. http://www.gamingsur...ss-Effect-2.jpg

The only reason I'm also not a fan of the faces, is because Shepard's face is reduced to the N7 logo instead of his actually head, which clashes a tiny bit with the other NPCs. Couldn't the game capture the player's Shepard as a mini picture and display that?

I'd like a captured image of our Shepard's facial scope as well. It's better to see our (hopefully) beautiful and handsome faces rather than the N7 symbol. But I find the mini images to be helpful and not a liability. I'm glad they're as close to the bottom as the screen as necessary and not in the middle of the screen.. that would be horrid.

I don't mind them, but I don't necessarily want Liara and Garrus's faces on my rear when I'm, you know, casually shopping, dancing at Flux's, or punching reporters in the head. During the non-combat moments, I wouldn't mind them not being there.

I was under the impression that this was a placeholder UI from ME2 (obviously modified). IIRC, someone pointed out that a graphic didn't match up correctly with what was actually being used at the time.

I don't see the problem.

What a dumb complaint. Complain about the picture itself, some of them looked retarded in their photos, not the fact that they're there.
Would you rather see their name? Cause if that's the case, then say that, not something so minor of a detail that it canbe putoff.

Me neither. Complaining about a non issue just makes you look like a whiner.

I´d have no problem if they showed their status. But only shows if they are getting hit Shields or lifebar, but no how much left they have. The same with cooldowns, I used the quickbar to know how long before I could use powers again.

Really? If people have so many problems with Mass Effect, here's a suggestion:
Don't play it.

I agree with Someone With Mass.
This was one of the silliest, and sorry if I offend you anyhow, things to complain about I've seen so far in these boards x/
I mean... I can understand why you'd rather have ME1 style and all, but, it's not as bad as it's pictured, and ME1 style would be quite useless in ME2 gameplay style, since shields are way faster to recover, and health isn't as big of a deal as it was in ME1, where you had to KEEP an eye on their health to use medi-gel, now you just have to ensure they get proper cover before they can go again into battle.
Dunno, ME2 style fits its gameplay as ME1 style fit its gameplay.

I also don't like the images at the bottom, but only because they are in the bottom middle. I wouldn't mind them at all if they were to the far left or far right. Either way a toggle would be perfect. Or just have them pop up when in combat, I'm fine with that.
