So is this DLC a secret thing in the collectors edition? Or one of these Day 1 DLCs to discourage second hand games?
As it is listed under "also includes" and has no "exclusive" in it, i would guess that this is common DLC.

The mission was called The Prothean. That doesn't mean the companion was one.

Then you find out the companion in "The Prothean" DLC is the Preaching hanar from ME1.

This.
It will be something like the Collectors were never working with the Reapers and Cerebus just tricked everyone into taking out the Reapers biggest threat.

I also believe we might have gotten our first glimpse at him/her/it with this picture:

Since we have an alien looking figure that seems to be in the fetal position while in a stasis bubble.

As I've stated in other threads (like the Prothean discussion thread) I believe that the "mistake" was revealing this info waaay too early.

if nothing else, it's an eerily similar globe to the one in the hammerhead dlc for ME2...

That's a volus. Its the rebirth of the Biotic Wind.
Nah, in the video yesterday it was confirmed that the Biotic God won't be a teammate for ME3 since "he couldn't get ready in time."
