I would be surprised if she wasn't there, maybe wearing a helmet if Shepard has punched her before. Maybe after the first couple of reapers land and start destroying things she'll approach shepard with a question:

Al jilani: "So these are the reapers you've been warning everyone about"
Shepard: "yes"
Al jilani: "So they are real? So how do we defeat them?"
Shepard: "We don't..."
Al jilani: "So what you're saying is, all species in the galaxy are now doomed. You must feel pretty stupid about not being able to convince the alliance to prepare for these reapers"
Shepard: "I've had just about enough of you..." *Shoots al jilani and heads for normandy*

That's what the VS will get. The Omni-Blade is reserved for the reporter.

I can just about see it happen. PLEASE make that a possibility. Renegade interrupt where Shepard uses his omni-blade for the first time on al jilani:pinched:. And near the end of the game, al jilani comes back as a husk and then we'll use the M-920 Cain...

I would totally motion control punch her in the face, but I think Bioware's sticking to voice control.

I'll keep touting the idea to use Kinect to navigate the Galaxy Map though.

You guys don't get it, I don't want Shep to shoot her with it, I want Shep to beat her to death with it, demonstrating the new melee mechanic.
