Haha, that last question was full of derp. Anyone else think Silverman just made it up on the spot?
It was probably on their outline/talking points, but that's ok. It'll help someone, eh?

Jesse Houston was direct. I like his way of answering questions more.
He's in the marketing business. He's used to it.
Still, I'm bummed he avoided answering that directly. Come on, I want to be able to pick all paragon and renegade options at my free will, not be forced down one path or spend skill points on dialogue.
Although I did prefer ME1's system of charm and intimidate VASTLY over ME2's paragon and renegade.

LOL, yeah. That's the impression I got, too.
Also, throughout the video I was like PLEASE DON'T USE THE WORD "AWESOME"...and the guy ended up saying it at the end there.

1)NO to Mako/Hammerhead replacement.
2)Your paragon/renegade score from previous ME games will affect ME3's score.

I'm actually thinking it's his Twitter picture. I mean really? How much did you pay a photographer for you, a director of marketing, to stand in front of a white screen and make stupid poses?marshalleck wrote...

As someone who has spent 5+ years working right next to our marketing people / team... I can attest your statement as pure fact.
Oh and the video wasn't really worth watching.. for the most part (nothing involving interviews with Silverman is... it's always inane drivel). Only found 1 or 2 tidbits of semi interesting info in it that we haven't already heard (everything is is a repeat of all the E3 stuff pretty much... though I suppose if you missed the E3 info / interviews, you'll find it useful).

This is not working for me. It just shows a play button next to the description, and then nothing happens when I click it.

With Silverman in the video, you'd think something AWESOME would happen.

Edit: Also, saying something starts at 10AM is a bit confusing when you don't include the time zone. Since the interview is taking place (we assume) at E3 in LA, most people would assume you'd be using Pacific time. This started at 10AM Mountain. Remember, include the time zone if you're addressing an audience that includes people outside of your local area.

It gets frustrating when the same exact questions are the ones selected are the same ones that can found everywhere on the web, at E3. Even just ONE question that nobody could know (i.e. SQUAD ARMOR) would satisfy a lot of fans. That last question, about can I get ME3 if I don't have ME1/2 just infuriates the living hell out of me.Memphis Slim wrote...
No reason to bite their heads off, guys.
And then you start hearing scripted answers - word for word that we've heard. Nothing against Casey - I'd have his children if I could - but it gets a tiring. Throw us a bone with these Q&As. Surely squad armor isn't spoiler? Surely if Ash is getting armor or not spoilery.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I want to choose the option I'd choose in RL, not take a different option for the sake of being able to pass high lvl charm/intimidate options later in the game. Too bad Casey didn't seem to want to release any information about this though. Could they still be working on it since he seems reluctant to say anything about this?

That's sort of par for the course, though. We've had several of these Q&As in the past, and I don't think we've ever got anthing new out of any of them. At this point, I'm just sort of used to it. The most frustrating part was the question about persuasion/indimidate, which is a question we don't actually know the answer to, and Casey didn't really answer it.MACharlie1 wrote...

And, of course, there's the last question that got slipped in there, which I'm almost positive is not a question any fan sent in. It just feels like they have to force that into any interview ever.

Possibly. Point is, I want to know. I don't want ME2's system again because that was atrociously limiting.
