I don't expect a dev reply to this, but i'm really hoping in ME3 we'll get the option to strip off the alliance logos and colours from the normandy and boot off any alliance staff.
Personally i find it annoying that while shep is awaiting trial on earth, the alliance has nicked shep's ship and repainted it as they see fit! My shep's have all stolen that ship from cereberus, its very underhanded for the alliance to join in with the ship stealing!
I wouldn't want the option for every playthrough, but i'd love too see it as an option. I adored telling the council where to stick their 'token' support in ME2 and it would be fun to do the same to the alliance.
I know the game is all about saving earth, but it would be nice to do it as a 'free' agent rather than attached to the alliance/council.
Would anyone else like too see this as an option?
Do you really think that Shepard has the ressources and money to maintain a ship like the Normandy 2?
Even this ship needs repairs at a shipyard, especially after the heavy it sustained during the Suicide Mission. Shepard needs the Alliance for that. This is a little bit more then just "token" support.
Well although its said that Cereberus is funding the mission in ME2 you never hear much about it, shep finds and funds all the credits for squad upgrades, ship fuel and probes and goes off to scan countless planets for resources for ship upgrades, so i figure cereberus can only have been paying the salaries. I can't imagine many people are being fussy about salaries in ME3.
I understand that the alliances support is going to be a lot more substancial than just ship repairs in ME3, but considering they broke up the original normandy team, sealed up all records and a few months after shep died wrote him/her off as a bit bonkers, i'd just really like to have the option to return the favour

Would be a nice touch if you could get a civilian crew instead, like the cereberus team from ME2 (minus their cereberus connections) i can't see ken, gabby, gardner and kelly joining up with the reapers. I guess i just felt a lot more connected to the crew from ME2 than i did to the ME1 crew. So the thought of returning to a load of nameless people in the dark dreary normandy lighting from ME1 adds a depressive edge to the game for me. (the only screenshot i've seen of the normandy interior for ME3 looked very dark blue and gloomy)
