Hi everyone, I've just recentlty purchased a copy of the ultimate edition of Dragon Age: Origins, and, as the name of the topic implies, I was wondering what is "intended to do".
What I want to know is:
1) Chronologically, which one happens first.
2) In terms of power, which one has higher level requirements.
3) Any opinion in case the two criteria above are identhical for both...
What comes first: Awakening or the Golems of Agmarrak?

Origins > somewhere in there (straight after meeting her if you like) Leliana's Song > Awakening > Golems > Witch Hunt
Avoid Darkspawn Chronicles, thats a couple of hours of my life im not going to get back...
Golems has ***THE*** hardest fight in all of DA:O at the end, it is recommended a well planned out, well specced, well geared, level 35 warden (can be done with Origins imports, but it just takes the absolute pee)
Erm, yeah. Hope that helps

1) Chronologically:
Leliana's Song - > Origins - > Awakening -> Golems -> Witch Hunt
Darkspawn Chronicles happens the same time as Origins in an alternate universe.
2) Levels:
Darkspawn Chronicles == Leliana's Song == Origins -> Awakening - > Witch Hunt =< Golems (debatable)
4) How you should play through:
Origins, Leliana's Song / Darkspawn Chronicles, Awakening, Golems, Witch Hunt
5) Other:
You get some excellent items that make the game very easy from the DLC if you manage to complete certain achievements.

Leliana's Song could be happening at the same time as Origins though no? As your own origins and ostagar could be the same time Leliana is in Denerim.
And have you actually played Witch Hunt lol? Its difficulty cannot be compared to Golem's, not even Awakening. The last boss is so easy I facerolled the keyboard for a few minutes and still won. But thats just me. No Awakening isn't exactly hard, but Witch Hunt? Nah.

No. LS takes place years (at least two) before Origins.TheBigMatt90 wrote...

There are references in both DAO and DA2. Leliana hints on several occasions that she had been in Lothering for quite a while. Also, in DA2, some characters (such as Bethany and Aveline) hint at having known Leliana in Lothering before the events of DAO.

Also, if you have the small dlcs (return to Ostagar) etc) you can play these at anytime during the main game.
